What a great learning material Mr. Paul. I would like to know approximately how much harvest of fish and plants this type of system generates. Thanks for sharing
you can have approx 64 tilapia in each tank, they take 6 to 8 months to grow. How much produce can you harvest is can't easily be answered, it all depends on what you plant.
As we discussed on the phone, I believe a small family would be able to eat the fish and have a very limited supply to sell as well. This all depends on how much they eat themselves.
Hello Shawn, I was hoping to build a set up like this indoors so I won't be able to dig a hole for the sump tank. Does the ebook address an alternative? If so, I would love to purchase a copy! Thank you!
It doesn't directly address a system without a sump in the ground, but it would be simple to do so. You just would need a shallow sump above ground. I would go with a constant flood system so the water level would be more consistent. If you have any questions, please email me at shawn@morningstaraquaponics.com
The e-book is great, good job and great work on this project, I am interested in the "cinder block" method as building these stands out of angle Iron would be WAYY to expensive in Hawaii. Do you happen to have more details about the project you built with cinder block?
Thank you so much for your kind words. Unfortunately, I had such a bad experience with cinder block, I steered away from them. I'm not saying someone else won't have success with cinder block. To me, they are bulky and get in the way of plumbing, they crack and break. I didn't provide that info in the book for those reason. I do offer wood construction designs in the back. Hope this helps.
Thank you, no, you can use sand. It can be impacted with fecal matter and other debris overtime and become anaerobic. The water needs to be able to freely flow through the grow beds.
Hi Paul I am Godie from Uganda and totally impressed by what you are doing, How can i get your books and if possible can i reach you on phone or emails?, thanks and kind regards
I was in the process of designing my system when i saw your video. one problem i faced is painting HDPE. I see you sanded the totes but HDPE is notorious for not adhering paint. After a year how has the paint held up? What kind of paint did you use?
Yeah, I do know, Jesus. Thanks 2 Peter 1:19 So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts. Revelation 22:16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.” Revelation 2:28 and I will give him the morning star. "This phrase likely refers to the sun-the star that brings the morning-as a symbol for Christ himself, the “sun of righteousness” (Mal 4:2), who brings us into God’s light of eternal life. The prophet Malachi also refers to this sun as having “healing in its wings” (i.e., in its rays). So by giving his faithful people “the morning star,” Jesus says he will give himself in a new and deeper way that brings healing, restoration and all the promises and benefits of life in God’s radiant light."

@@thehealthawakening How many tilapia per week/month can be harvested with this size build?
In This system, will they be able sell and eat the fish as well?

Where I can buy one please give me information
Buy a system? I don't know, we build our own. Here are ebook on how to build a system step by step. www.morningstaraquaponics.com

Hi Shawn, well elaborated and easy to understand, thanks for the good work. Can sand be used in the grow tanks instead of gravel?. 🇰🇪🇰🇪👍

@@thehealthawakening thanks, well understood.
Thanks for the valuable video, just approximately, this wonderful green house you built it...how much it cost you?
About $1,000 to $1,500, shade cloth in Honduras is extremely expensive.
@@thehealthawakening this for the shade and all other works?
And what is the shaded area sizes?
Thanks.
I don't know what you mean by the first question. The dimensions of the greenhouse is 13.5 feet x 26 feet
@@thehealthawakening 1000 to 1500 dollars the cost of 13.5x24feet green house in addition to pools and accessories?
That is the cost of the greenhouse.
Also can this system be done with floating beds in order to grow leafy products?
I'm sure you can with modifications
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

what is the submersible pump that you used?
EcoPlus

It's a love hate relationship. It needs to be painted and at times over and over. I used exterior latex paint.
Is your book available as a paperback? I prefer physical books to ebooks.
No, sorry, it's only available via download in a PDF format.
Do you ever build for private individuals?
Yes, I have.
How much does a system like this cost?
With a shade cloth looped greenhouse house, I would say around $4500 to $5200. This all depends on your country and where you source your materials.
You DO know WHAT “morning star” means, right? “Who” it refers to?
Yeah, I do know, Jesus. Thanks
