What's inside a 1969 Honda 70cc Engine?

Time to strip this engine and see what is going on inside. In Part 3 of this restoration series we tear down the famous Honda single cylinder engine and see what condition everything is in. For a 54 Year old engine I am very impressed.
Parts are now off for Vapor and sand blasting so we can begin reassembly!

i use an impact socket with a large phillips that you hit with a rubber mallet on those screw heads .. works perfect every time

one or two taps jolts them open.... i spent my youth destroying lots of these screw heads

That sounds like the best way to do it! Need to invest in one of those impact tools. As you say. Spend more time destroying screws than you do anything else ! Haha
