Hey, do you remember the Aquastar programming box? You made a post about the device on your website many years ago. Any chance you still got it? I'd love to buy it from you.
Hello, I would like to purchase a STorM32 with 2 UART ports and ESP32 wifi module so that I can control my GoPro camera through QGroundControl. Do you have any links where I could purchase these 2 items?
I am not sure what you mean by "that stack". If you mean the firmware: The firmware is free, so you can just grab it and use it, also in commercial settings. See the terms of usage for more details. :)
Hello, I would have a few questions. Do you know the rotor position of the motor by BEMF method? Is there a sense Resistance in between? Good work thank you.
The answers are: no, no. yt is not a good place for such discussions, maybe consider the main rcgroups thread. Some details of how it works you can find on my web page.
as always with STorM32, that's the difficult question ... you might drop me a PM at rcgroups to discuss some possibility, but generally it's DIY, unless vendors jump in
@@OlliW42 then why not moving the code from storm32 to pixhawk. this is going to drive the cost of the drone exponentially. especially if you are not taking advantage fully of the processing power and memory left on the pixhawk. you increase cost and weight of the craft unnecessarily.
Hey Ollie, I am building one of these gimbals based on your NT design, because I am very interested in the size to fit it on some of my airplanes. I noticed however that the MPU-9250 became discontinued. You mention that the ICM20602 can be used as well for the v3.3 board (v330m in picture, i'm building v332m). But it uses a different package with less pins. I looked on the manufacturers website, and I read that the ICM-20948 is designated as a direct replacement but it has a lower voltage tolerance hor VDDIO. Stated at a 1.95v absolute maximum, while your design puts 3.3v on this same pin. Is this going to be an issue, or is it known to work well without alterations to the board? Is there any other MPU that can be used, such as the MPU-6050 that can be pulled from a range of fc boards?

Fantastic, happy new year.
thx. Happy new year to you too :)
Amazing work
thx, sir :)
I want to buy build a gimbal for a gopro to run dual opp, do you have links to that stack to purchase?

Hi. Any news about how to control GoPro 8 ?
no, unfortunately not. I don't have a GoPro8 to test or work it out.You may want to just try it, much of the function might work.
@@OlliW42 and hdmi output - any hacks? with media mod its hardly mountable on the tarot 5 gimbal
Oli What is that holder for your gimbal? Did you 3-D print that?
you mean this yellow/red/grey thing? It's Fischer-Technik ... I grew up with that stuff and my kids also got some...
OlliW42 thanks

How or from where do we obtain these 20x20mm mount boards?

why have another gamble electronic hardware board to control it? why not keep everything in pixhawk?
pixhawk doesn't have wifi, and if extended with a wifi module it doesn't have the code to do this.

you are free, and probably welcome by the pixhawk project, to add respective code to pixhawk

you can use a MPU-6500 as drop-in replacement for the MPU-9250
