Today's video is a review of one of my all time favourite bags, the Louis Vuitton Neverfull in the monogram canvas in the GM size. I take a look at the 10 YEAR wear and tear! what fits in this bag, how i pack it with a Samorga bag organiser, what i carry and if i think this bag is worth it.

I love this bag, too! I switch off between 2 for work: Damier Azur GM in spring/summer, and the Damier Ebene GM in fall/winter (or whenever it rains 🙂). Mine are only a few years old, but both still look brand new. It is definitely time to retire yours! I know how special it is to you, and it will be a lovely sentimental keepsake. Good for you! I think some people have regretted buying the ear pods just because they were the new, hot thing. Happy Saturday 💕 Love seeing the 10 year review. Great you got your moneys worth out of her. Dollar cost averaging she is almost free lol. I have a 20 year old LV bag that was gifted to me and I treasure it. It was my very first Louis Vuitton Bag. That organizer seems like a must have for you. I think if I ever travel again augh, I'll need one. I only have MM sizes. But I just can not carry a big bag. The MM is really too big for me. Which I could carry one its a great travel size. Your bag is in great condition for being 10 years old! I bought the MM size in Damier Ebene about 7 years ago and have used it everyday for work ever since. It’s still in great condition and would highly recommend a Neverfull to anyone considering purchasing one. I bought a base and also a Samorga organiser but when I put lots of items in the pockets, it does become quite heavy - especially with a “Euro purse” and a “sterling purse”. I think it’s definitely a case of “everything but the kitchen sink” with me and this bag. I do have the GM size but tend to only use it for travel - especially for the kiddies’ items.
It’s definitely more heavy with the organiser in it, and I have a sterling and euro purse! I carry 2 laptops normally, charger, agenda, all the other slg’s, the gm works with so much to take to work. But I definitely put more in because I have the space, I could do with less! It’s also perfect for travel, it has went everywhere with me! 💕

Samorga have a blog post on the pink to match this lining, there are 2 that are closest to it, I went for the lighter colour, thinner fabric one 💕
Though I dont use my NF very often, I do plan to get a GM in the future. I currently have a MM.
It’s only because of work mine gets so much use but I think it’s a great bag 💕

I was tempted by a neverful but in reality i had to admit that i don't like open bags, so i got a vintage luco tote. I would be interested in knowing what you do now to look after/keep your bags in better condition as I am also prone to just flinging my bag down instead of seeing out down gently
I’m still not the most careful to be honest, but with bags not as beat up as this one(!), I’ll be much more careful where I set them, I use an organiser now so the interior doesn’t get damaged, I’ll more aware of things like hand cream etc on the leather, I try to be more careful but I don’t naturally baby them at all, I probably go too far the other way! 💕
What do you think has caused the wear/cracking at the top, or anything you'd do differently? I'm just getting one, so any advice on keeping it nice as long as possible would be appreciated! I think it's amazing to see you've had it this long! X
Thank you! Some people have had theirs just as long and still in great condition. I think it’s how I used it to be honest. I used to everyday and didn’t take care of it, I stuffed it under tables in work, in coffee shops, I filled it to the point of breaking, took it everywhere. If I get a new one I still intend to use it for all those things, I will just be a bit more aware of trying to look after her a bit. She has basically been used everyday for 10 years as a complete work horse. Congrats on your purchase! 💕
Totally get why you don't want to retire her. Mine looked the same and it was one of my first lux bags. I just couldn't let her go lol!

@@ameliarosescloset the missing straps were not worth it to replace. After almost 15 years i recently sold her because i wasnt using the bag at all

I think I’m probably just going to keep her folded up at the back of a cupboard! 🙈 I can’t throw her out, I’ll bring her out every now and then for a nostalgia rush!! Another thing holding me back on replacing her is how much more expensive they are from when I first bought it 💕

There are a lot of leather workers who could bring your bag back to life. Some are pricey, but less than a new one. And you would still have your well loved sentimental bag. Love your accent.

I have my comment cut off but I was going to mention that I have watched videos of vloggers whose LV Neverfull are over 10 years old and do not look like that at all. You should bring it to an LV store and have it completely restored for less than $100 US because that would be a good video to do after restoration. Thanks for replying to my comment :)
@@mariasarinas I actually thought that would be a fab idea too, unfortunately because the canvas is damaged, they can’t restore the canvas. They can replace all the vachetta, but there would still be the corner wear etc. I also agree that so many older ones don’t look like this 🙈 I think it is because golf how I have treated it- badly! Kicked it under tables, spilt stuff on it, generally threw it about, I have learnt though! I will replace her, I could compare a new one to the mess of mine! 💕
