I really love these cards - it is a lot of work to make multiple. It seems that a background stamp where it has a line of these hearts is a good idea for this - love it nonetheless!

This is my kind of card making!! The cards that take commitment and when the recipient sees it they are just blown away and trying to figure out how you did that. It will likely be available as a single item by the next release. Any time she makes a kit. It is only for a set time. Usually until the next release. Which is about every two months or so. Sometimes less. Then every stamp set or item on the kit will be available as a separate purchase. But for anyone who likes it all. Getting the kit saves you money.
The rainbow card would be perfect with paw prints for a pet that’s just gone over the Rainbow Bridge (I tent to make a lot of them so am always looking for new ideas)

I’m a bit of a rainbow snob (as in, it’s gotta have the 6 colors! 😂), so I might have tried stamping the greeting in purple. The black really does look sharp, though! Fantastic video, Jennifer! I was thinking about the lines you made with the "permanent" marker. I always smear them especially on plastic. So I Thought about Tim Holtz distress paint. Once you use it and let it dry a little wipe it off and it's there permanently. What do you think? I would really appreciate your view. Tfs.

I am in love with that rainbow mini slimline. I have a horrible time finding the right size for mini slimline things like stencils, etc. because everyone makes a different size! How did that happen? Mine are 6” long. I think they are 3 1/2” wide. So I can only buy from Taylored Expressions where I bought the cards and envelopes. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, the way this is designed, you would be making a card that is no larger than 3.25 inch square. 😣 Stamps would have to be very tiny compared to most sizes currently made.
Gina K has a mini template that makes 2&3/8” images. It sells for about $7 though it is currently out of stock. But really the templates are just squares that are rotated 90° from each other. It makes a standard eight arm rotational design. You can make your own templates with square dies or if you have (or a friend) an electronic cutter it’s even easier. If you go the DIY route, you can make templates to fit whatever size MISTI you want.
There was a mini wreath builder template that came out as a free gift with purchase from Simon says stamp like two years ago or so. I don’t know if she sold it separately after that. I feel like she might have. But you could check eBay to see if anyone is selling theirs

I almost did too. But I figured one, I’ve spent enough lately and two, I only really want the new template & maybe the Mandala Maker 2 stamp set. I actually have 5 or 6 products from different companies for making mandala/wreaths. Each one bugs me in tiny little ways that I really should either get over or just give up on making these designs.
I have a question i just hope u will notice and respond... whats the difference between the foil using glimmer and the foil using adhesive..are those foil differrent? Pls let me enlighten
The problem I have is that this techniques requires buying a Gina K kit. Not everyone has the money to buy these kits .I can not buy this kit because I live in Europe and these kits are not available in my country.
i totally understand that. that is why 90% of the time I try to focus on techniques that dont' need certain tools. However, the wreath builder will be available separately in a month or so. and you can get from even more stores :)
I just ordered this kit and I'm living in Europe. There will be taxes to pay of course, but if you really wanted you can. I contacted GinaK and asked if they can add my country to the shipping list. I was able to order those fantastic mini (little love and little hello) kits as well. Hope this helps 😊

I have other templates as well, but I’m not familiar with Gina K’s kits. Do you know if eventually the individual stamp sets are available separately?

Yes, they are different. Glimmer foil works with heat and pressure. Other foils work react to toner or adhesive (the right kind of adhesive)
