Thank you for the question po. For us, much better na may work visa ka to really secure your stay sa China. Kapag nagstart ka na to work illegally, no chance of having vacations ka din sa pinas. You can’t even go to other provinces kasi may check din na gagawin for sure. As for the detention, it depends. We don’t have any idea kung gaanu katagal. It all depends sa discrepancy ng pinagdetain sa iyo. May iba months na. May iba, years. And then kapag narelease ka, may record ka na lalo na if you plan on going out ulit from pinas. In short, secure a working visa to avoid all these hassles.

We only had around 2-3 years of classroom experience before we left for China. 3. Both of us ARE NOT professional teachers nor do we have teaching licenses. We are actually RNs with around 4 years of teaching experience before leaving for China. I think you have a good chance of getting hired if you find the right agency/ employer! 💪💪 Go lang ng go!

Filipino English teachers here are getting less than Native Speakers. It would take more than 2-3 years of working for the same company to get the same salary. There’s always a big difference in salary not even for Filipinos only but between Natives and Non-natives (or in some cases white vs non-white folks).
Hello, I am currently in Shanghai China as a teacher. Ang offer is 8000RMB, then 500RMB food allowance, tapos free accomodation. Mabubuhay na po kaya ako nito dito plus yung mga need ipadala sa Pinas na sustento?
I work in Shanghai and I guess 8k is okay as long as you have free accommodation. For a teacher though, that salary is too little even if you are a non-native English speaker but for an entry level teacher that is okay. after your contract I suggest you look for a better paying job. you can land a job that pay's 20-28k plus housing allowance. tyagaan lang mag hanap.

I suggest you tackle the new policies being implemented by China regarding hiring process of English Foreign Teachers who are NNES (Non-Native English Speaker). Discussing these new policies will be beneficial to the NNES hopefuls especially the Filipinos who are dreaming to teach in China.

Welcome. I taught in China for 16 years and now I'm back home for good as not everyone is a LIFER in China . I strongly suggest you tackle in your vlogs the present policies being implemented. There are so many provinces in China that still do not accept NNES unless you earned your degree from an Anglo=phone countries. Some provinces deemed NNES teachers illegal. And some provinces accept NNES teachers but only for them to teach in Training Schools which are less respected than teaching in public schools. Thanks.

They offer 7k RMB salary befroe tax. Then 1500 RMB per month housing allowance. Is this offer fair enough? Your thoughts will be very helpful.
William Gonzaga We used to work in Zhengzhou and tbh, we think it's kinda low but you can probably survive if you're frugal. If you really really want to come here, you can take the offer and just move to another city/school that pays better after your contract ends. Have you taken the TOTA?

7000 is way too small especially if your working in beijing. if they provide u free accommodation, u should get a salary between 13-17k intro salary.
