Hi, I'm not sure why, but if the fall was really hard or something pressed on the remote control with too much force, it could cause a microcrack that might sever connections on the logic board. Sometimes, when our AC remote control acts up, I open it and swab the logic board with a cotton swab to clear any clogging. It usually works well after that.

Note if you have some buttons working but not all of them you can spray spray spray "contact cleaner" down into the remote and it will help get those switches going again. You can fix these remotes without disassembling with contact cleaner.

Really need to get some prying tools. Using flat screwdrivers tends to gash the plastic. Luckily it hasn't done it too badly this time. Having to clean because of coffee spill.

Hey, on the circuit board, you can peel the white film to reveal little metal contact disk that touch the board when you press the button and thus sends the signal. You remove the one that’s under the Netflix button.
I recommend you test the remote as you go, to make sure everything works.
