I lived in Swanage for a magical few months back in 1993. We explored all along that Pirate Coast and you brought it all flooding back. Just to see Lulworth Tavern again was amazing. Thank you so much.
You’re more than welcome and it’s always lovely to be able to bring back some memories for others. Hope we did the place justice! 🙏⛵️😁
bit late with the comment. Wow am 53 years old and from the age of 4 have spent most of my holidays in swanage not missed a year apart from that year that starts with COVID always had a day trip to the cove with a bbq at the end of the day your drone shoots of the cove made my day thank you .... much hugs safe sail.
Ahhh it’s always epic to hear that something we made actually went out into the mysterious world of the interwebs and had a positive impact somewhere 😁😁
I can certainly see why you go back time and time again, it’s a very majestic, rugged and stunning stretch of coastline, and it would have felt much the same a thousand years ago too, it really makes the mind wonder ⛵️⛵️😁
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts, it makes it all worthwhile 😊😊😊
@@CadohaAdventures Thanks . thing is it looked so much Bigger from the drone shoots ... We just see as the lovely little cove ....
Keep EM !! COMING!!!from Vancouver Island BRITISH Columbia.
We will do, Brian. Thanks for saying hi 😁
hi loved the photography and the music - first class thanks again
Thanks, Doug, glad you enjoyed coming along for the ride 😁🙏
The Jurassic coast is one of the most stunning in this little country of ours. I’ve moved away now and miss it so much, it was nice to see. I do wonder how you are going to drag yourselves away from the stunning South Coast and show the world the rest of our beautiful coastline!
There’s so many places we want to explore and show off still, from more coves and anchorages on the south coast, to the highlands of Scotland and much in between. We also have a few challenges we’re setting ourselves around being off-grid on the boat, in these latitudes for a year, which involves many more modifications on the boat too.
When I saw the choppers, I automatically wondered if the prince was piloting one of them. Great video!
You and me both! ☺️🇬🇧
You make these vlogs so dramatic with music, the voice over and camera work and Hank, you don't what is coming next great work look forward to your next vlog.
Thanks, we’re just doing our best to show our home off in her best light 🙏⛵️😬
We did a trip from Soton via Yarmouth, Studland, Lulworth, Weymouth, Lyme Regis, Dartmouth, River Yealm, Salcombe, Brixham, West Bay, Portland, Lymington 3 years ago - sadly the last sail we managed, but it was glorious. Lulworth was beautiful to anchor in & West Bay was great fun trying to get a 38’ yacht in and out. Must buy another boat one day… Thanks for keeping us on the waves ⛵️
I think we’ve been to most of the above too, each spot has its own charms. Glad to think we’re keeping sailors going in between vessels 😁🙏
What a delightful way to spend time this morning watching you guys!
Great B-Roll...becoming your trademark!
Cheers
Thanks, we're just always striving to be better at capturing (and sharing) our home with everyone, seemingly around the world 😁⛵️
Thanks for taking the time to say hi 😁😁😁
First time viewer here. Well done and most enjoyable. Thank you.
Hey Dave, thanks for taking the time to say hello. Glad you enjoyed it, and as far as sharing it goes, it’s our pleasure 😁🙏⛵️
Never seen Lulworth so quiet. Must have been lovely. Better luck with the lobster hunt.
It was half way through October so I imagine that had something to do with it? We were clearly very lucky, well, not as lucky as the lobsters 🦞🤣🦞
You should see it during the Autumn half term. Car park was full. Durdle door even busier! Good to see Captain Carly and Admiral Hank back on board again 👍
You do show some of the most beautiful coast lines in all of the UK. And of course, it is always nice to see Hank. Stay groovy and stay safe.
Thanks, we do our best, but the truth is that we’re only just discovering this beautiful place ourselves, in real (ish) time 😁
Thanks for stopping by and saying hi again, really appreciate it 😁🙏⛵️
@@CadohaAdventures Please keep discovering it for the rest of us.
Another great video guys, something to aspire to. Fawley chimney still standing in the background at the end as well... Strange it's gone now.
I know, it makes the video look dated already. End of an era 😔
Hi from West Australia. Ive lived in England and so I can appreciate your glee. You don't get too many days like that eh?
Still love the thought of someone so far away watching our humble little vlog 😁😁
You’re right, we don’t get enough days like this, but that also makes us really appreciate being in the moment when they do happen. We don’t take them for granted, that’s for sure 😁🙏
gave this a like as soon as I saw Lulworth. stunning coastline all the way along there
Enjoying your joy, it’s genuine 😃
We’re feeling very fortunate for this adventure, that’s for sure 🙏😁⛵️
as always humour, bit of history, great looking spots to visit next time we come your way ! Thanks
Hey Michael, thanks for taking the time to say hello. Yes it is indeed an amazing spot, as long as you have light northerly winds, otherwise (by all accounts) it’s not that much fun in there, but time it right and it’s a treasure of a memory for life 😁🙏⛵️
Hi. I'm new to the Ch. Just came over from Sail Life. Fair Winds to you all !!!
High, John, welcome aboard, nice to have you our little adventure, mate. 😁⛵️🙏
All the best in your travels.....Very pleasant !! Thanks
Thanks, Dingo, glad to hear you enjoyed coming along for the ride with us, and thanks again for taking the time to say hi, it means the world to us 🙏😁⛵️
Hello! From Whitefish, MT. USA. I really enjoy your channel!
Hello from across the pond. Glad you enjoy it and thank you for taking the time to say hi ☺️⛵️
What a slice if beauty!!
Thanks
We 100% agree and it's truly our pleasure and great privilege to be able to showcase our home shores in all her glory 🙏🏻😁⛵️
First time commenting, been following you guys for about 6 months now. I'm not a sailor by any means but I enjoy a few sailing channels, I love the effort you put into your editing. And Hank is simply a ledge 😂
Well firstly thank you so much for takin the time to say hi, it really means the world, and we're glad to hear you enjoy the videos. Hank is indeed a legend, no arguments there 😁🙏🏻
@@CadohaAdventures I meant to ask, do you have any plans to sail further afield, into the med for example?
@@adidoney1505 we will be for sure, but right now we have some more epic plans for sailing our home shores some more and sharing bits that people just didn’t think existed. We also have some ‘off-grid’ plans for Cadoha and a very bold challenge with it, especially for our latitude which we hope people will be interested in too.
So many people have already done great jobs of showcasing the Med and Caribbean that I’m not sure we’ll have much more to offer there, who knows, but we’re really enjoying not only discovering how amazing our home nation really is but feel like we’re in a super fortunate position to show case it, perhaps in a way that no one else is/has? 🤞🏼⛵️🙏
@@CadohaAdventures no critism here, I certainly haven't seen any others that document our shores like you do. If you ever venture into the dirty waters of the humber estuary, I'll be sure to offer some hospitality of some kind 👍
@@adidoney1505 if we ever make it that way they we’ll be sure to take you up on that 😁⛵️🙏
Hi guys. Lulworth cove is a magical place. High up on the cliff Dom where you were filming, that is where I proposed to my wife. We love this place. Thank you. ❤️
Ah amazing, what a great place to propose!! No doubt it holds an even more magical place in your hearts then for sure! 🙏🏻😁
Lulworth cove incredible in so many ways from it's geology and topographical formation. on a really clear day you can see the bands of rocks changing on the sea bed, to its peaceful dramatic good looks. As a teenager used to swim ashore and free climb the more challenging cliffs or dry out walking the coastal path, good memories as too old and knackered for such things these days, get them in while you can adventures can come to a very dramatic stop.
Wowzers, you sounded like quite the adventurer as a kid, a childhood that seems much more epic than playing on a games console. I hope the video bought back a few great memories, we certainly hope to make a few more there 🙏🏻⛵️
As I posted in another comment, you can find fossils in rocks along the coast line as its teeming with geological wonders! Shame that Durdle Door has been in the news in the last few year for idiots tombstoning from the top and coming off worst for it.
@@CadohaAdventures I thank god video games were not around when I was a kid, what a waste of lives.
Just arrived from Sail Life...cheers.
Awe that’s epic, welcome aboard, mate 😁⛵️
Just saw you on sailing Athena. Between you Athena and Atticus, can't wait to get my own sailboat.
Well we wish you all the best of luck in getting your boat, and welcome aboard our humble little adventure 😁🙏⛵️
Hi! Lovely content with lovely people! Inspires me to follow my dream to own a blue water sailing boat. Thanks!
Another beautiful anchorage !!! Great video cheers
Thanks, John, it really was stunning and thanks for taking the time to drop in and say hi 🙋♂️😁
Last ever shots of the Fawley Power Station chimney 👍
They were certainly the last shots we have.

Lovely seeing Lulworth Cove from the sea and so magical in the right conditions you were very fortunate and thank you for sharing it. Although I wish you ever increasing subs I hope you manage to retain your uniqueness and down to earth and humble attitude often lost when channels get bigger.
Thanks, Ian, we’re glad you enjoyed the video and we couldn’t agree more, we really were gifted the best possible weather for our stay there, we were very lucky 😁😁🙏⛵️
I can’t imagine much will change regardless of what the channel does, right now we’re simply enjoying sharing this place with the world and feel that we’ve accidentally (more than anything) found ourselves in this unique position to do so, and we’re just really enjoying very much still learning what a life on water, certainly at these latitudes, is all about.
I think it’s safe to say we have many, many more years of learning in front of us, and Mother Nature is more than enough to keep any of us humble. 😊⛵️

Welcome aboard! and glad to hear you're enjoying them. Thanks for taking the time to drop into the comments 🙏🏻🙏🏻😁
Shame you guys don't dive. Just outside Lulworth is the wreck of the Black Hawk. Swept by wire to 20 mtrs and cut in two this wreck is a fantastic dive with scallop beds all around. loads of big fish. Further east at Kimmeridge is the famous ledges. A great dive. Always good entertainment. BTW you get a big shout out in our next on Sunday.... Sail Safe. Ant & Cid.
I'm learning to free dive, so maybe I'll be able to hold my breathe and head down to the wreck, I mean if there's scallops down there, that's all the motivation I need. Who am I kidding, I'm not brave enough to do that 😂
Ahh we will be sure to tune in then, appreciate that 🙏🏻
Hope you two are keeping well. All the best.

Nice place Lulworth Cove except for the shooting range over shoot to the east, pain in the stern. Been in there several time a few years ago.
Yes the firing range isn’t the most ideal part of it, agreed 😳
Am enjoying gettting to know the Cadoha family over the last year. Thanks for sharing and putting the effort in. Hoping to do more sailing this year, maybe one day we will venture to the south coast from the muddy Humber.
You can do it, and it's well worth the effort to see some amazing parts of your home. We're glad you're enjoying the videos and thank you so much for taking the time too say hello 😁🙏🏻
Those pints in the pub looked just the ticket :)

Great video guys, love the content, music and photography as always. I did a short corporate video a few years ago and couldn’t believe it took a whole day to put together a 3 minute clip. Wide angle, close ups etc. REALLY appreciate the work that goes in to a 12-15 minute snippet of your life, whether it’s October or March not bothered. Bring on the spring and summer so we can get boating again. Take care and thank you! Andy
Thanks Andrew, I’m always impressed by anyone who manages to work full time jobs AND make good videos every week, I’m not quite sure how they do it so well, but if nothing else it’s motivational. Lovely to watch an upbeat sailing video on the south coast when we are trying to shake off winter. It’s been far too long since I last sailed into lulworth cove, but you have made me want to get there again this next season.

Love your videos! They're great to watch even though I've never been sailing. We love seeing Hank. We've always had Vizslas. Our current one is still a puppy who is currently ripping up all our home furnishings!!
Keep up the good work! I look forward to seeing more sailing in this next season.
Thanks Trevor and best of luck with the puppy. I feel like we just got so lucky with Hank, even as a puppy, he never ripped anything up and only ever went to the toilet once in the house, then never again. He made our life so easy compared to most puppies. 😁🙏
Love watching you two! You have some of the best drone footage. This is a part of the world we have never cruised and unfortunately prob won't. I do find it cool that here on Vancouver Island - we have similar fishing and foraging as you guys. Prawns, crab, oysters, mussels etc.
OH - I forgot Hank in that comment....we love watching you three!
Our pleasure! and yes I imagine there are a lot of similarities between the two locations, minus the bears, mountain lions, and maple syrup that is, ha ha. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts, it means a lot 😁🙏🏻
Thanks for your lovely video! Looks like you were having loads of fun!
We’ve had the best adventures around these fine isles 😁⛵️🙏
Can you lead me to the music? A perfect choice, and blend, with the views. Thanks!
All the music I use is from a site called epidemic sound. I can’t remember the exact names of the songs but they’re almost certainly all to be found in their classical section 🙏😁⛵️
Beautiful spot!
It was such a striking place to wake up in! 😁🙏
Reall enjoyed that thanks.😀👍⛵️
Glad to hear you enjoyed it, Norman 🙏☺️
I've seen Lulworth on a map of the South Coast, but I didn't realise that it was a crater! Not sure if it's volcanic or the result of a long-ago meteor strike, but it's certainly striking, isn't it? Cadoha certainly behaved herself this season, didn't she? Good work, you two! Okay, just checked on line. Lulworth Cove was apparently created by the sea and limestone formations. How prosaic!
Not a crater! only in shape, check out the coastline to the east, all natural.
"or the result of a long-ago meteor strike"
You do have the Lulworth tank range not far from here but its not because of them! The whole region is known as the "Jurassic coastline" and is prone to constant erosion. You can walk along the beaches near here and find fossils in rocks exposed in landslips. A friend lives in a village nearby (they all have great names as well) and its a great area for cycling!
The entire Jurassic is breathtaking and stunning to witness. Cadoha has been amazing to us this past year and so we're doing our bit to take good care of her this winter, in hopes she'll repay us in kind again this summer 🙏🏻⛵️
very nice place, go on
Hey, Carlos, thanks for taking the time to drop the the comments, and yes, no argument from us, the place is magnificent! 😁

Hey Neville, thanks for dropping into the comments, it means a lot and it’s also great to hear from people that are otherwise just numbers on a screen 😁🙏
This upcoming season we’re a little less focused on ‘where’ we go and much more focussed on working to build Cadoha to be more ‘off grid’ and also on our ability to feed and water ourselves, from the wild 😁🙏⛵️
But we will also be heading to some more epic places 😁☺️☺️
I love your channel. You turn out the best videos
Thanks Tom, that's very kind of you to say, I'm not sure I agree, but we do our best 😁😁🙏🏻⛵️
Indeed a nice anchorage!
It's such an amazing spot when the weather is playing ball 😁⛵️

Glad you enjoyed it, it was a fun video to make, even if we didn't have a decent camera to do the world under water the justice I feel we owe it 🙏🏻😁
Next time 😬
Hello, enjoy!
Hello there, Scott. Thanks for taking the time to say hi, it means the world 😁⛵️🙏
Can’t wait for the 2022 season, what are you planning? Brilliant videos and stunning scenery, best wishes
We're planning to show off more of our amazing home shores, and we're building Cadoha out to be much more capable of being 'off-grid' and we hope that will culminate in a really cool challenge for us all 🙏🏻
Has Carly tried helming sitting up on the side of the boat? I used to helm standing on the transom locker so I could see but have found sitting up on the side easier!
Maybe see you guys anchored in Dartmouth again soon!
Fabulous cove. I have enjoyed your 2021 season in and around the south coast of the UK. Are you going to make it to the Med for some warmer weather this year? (I live on the Costa Del Sol).
Hello there, Neale, thanks for dropping in 😁🙏
We will do eventually, for sure, but not before we’ve completed a few challenges we’re setting ourselves here first, and not before we’ve been able to fully show off what a life on water in the UK can have in store, if you go looking for it 😁😁😁⛵️⛵️🙏
Another great video! well done, keep them coming! could I ask you what size and type of anchor have you got as you seem very pleased with it? Cheers
Hey Clive, thanks for taking the time to jump in the comments, it means a lot. We have a 25kg Mantus anchor and it's been awesome, we anchor out 90% of the time when we're away 😁⛵️⛵️
Love your work!!!

Nice videos you guys,
Great Video, what make is Hank’s life jacket?
Hanks life jacket is made by a Scandinavian company called ‘Hurtta’, it’s really strong and a huge improvement on his original one.
You had better get back to Southampton soon as Mads and Ava said they will be visiting you this week
We’re actually going out for dinner with them tonight before they set sail on the next leg of their adventure. 😁⛵️
Lovely footage, Lulworth is a very unique place. Are you back in Itchen for the Winter? Andy UK
Very special place. Yes we've been back for the winter and working away to try and stash a little cash. We've also been making many modifications to Cadoha, with so many more we'd like to do, but the penny jar never seems to stay full for long once you walk into a chandlery 😂😂
Next year we'll get there 🙏🏻
Hope you're keeping well? 👌🏻
@@CadohaAdventures Ah good, there is always something but that’s part of the joy of sailing and owning a boat. A boat seems like a great place to be right now in this crazy world. I’m muddling on, lots of change in my life but hope get to do some more serious sailing soon. Cheers. Andy
Thankyou 👍🙏
It’s our pleasure. Thanks for taking the time to say hi, we really appreciate it 😁🙏⛵️
Lovely work as always folks thanks 👍 just wondering what your plans are for this season, ??
We have a new mission, in light of everything that's happened in the world over the last couple of years, we're building Cadoha out to be much more off-grid, and at the same time we're focusing much more on being able to eat well 'off of the land' so we're doing a deeper dive into more amazing spots around these islands.
Great , these isles are very beautiful, very productive, and relatively safe, looking forward to following your adventures, stay safe. 🤠 Bonio”s to captain Hank 🍖
Hi! Love the channel, the three of you, the narrative, videography, sound track, Carly's creativity, even Hanks wardrobe! Just wondered what your longer term plans are? Do you intend to stick with the Southern English coast or are you planning more distant shores? Wales maybe, the East Coast or somewhere even more adventurous?
Hello there, Mat, thanks for taking the time to jump into the comments with us all, appreciate it 🙏😁
We have all kind of plans for places we want to go, but our focus over the next year or so is to do several things, firstly explore all the little nooks and crannies down here that people don’t often go to, we just really want to show off all the best bits of our ‘home shores’.
Second mission is to build the boat out to be more and more ‘off-grid’ and then we want to challenge ourselves to a very long period of time living off the anchor, catching and finding our own food.
Thirdly we want to develop our skills both in sailing (we’ve bought some new sails and set up new systems, and we’re even going to brave using a spinnaker, ha ha) and in terms of expanding on our newly pollinated friendships with other water men along the coast, and hopefully learn to become razor sharp hunters and gatherers.
In short there’s so much more here that we’re looking to expand on, but we’re also really wanting to head over to Ireland and back up to Scotland and really try and capture those destinations in the best light also 🙏⛵️😁
@@CadohaAdventures Cool 😎 Keep up the good work, the quality of content and presentation is superb! One day, when I've grown a bigger pair and a bigger boat, we'll set sail from the east coast and head south to experience at least some of beautiful places you're enjoying. Fortunately, we'll have your back catalogue for reference! 😁👍
Such a beautiful video! Could you please tell me the name of the beach with the cave in the first minute? It was to dirty for gorgeous!
It’s a stunning beach on the right day! It’s called ‘Lantic Bay’ 😁⛵️
That goes stright to the top of my summer destination list! Thank you so much. Really looking forward to the 2022 sailing season. You've given me so much inspiration for staycations with your videos ☀️
@@thecountryrose3633 I hope weather is on your side because it’s a marvellous place to behold when it is 🙏🙏🙏
There are so many more great spots to discover and our mission is to showcase them to everyone so that those who do ‘staycation’ can have an idea of a few great spots before hand 😁⛵️👌🏼
Did you know that the concave version of plaster cornicing (coving) was named after Lulworth cove?
Not many people know that (Michael Caine voice).
I had absolutely no idea about that at all it I hope that will one day come in useful in a pub quiz 👌🏼😁
Nice , Soon be time for 2022 sailing adventures 😃🍻🥂
This is very true and we still have so many jobs to get finished! 😳😳🙏⛵️
Hi Hank. Another great vid but tell me whats it like having having to put up with those 2, 2 legged pets that you always seem to hang around with? 🦮 Come and join our gang 🐩🐕🦺🦮🐕🐶 .Humpf *great work*
He'd happily jump ship for a decent steak, his loyalty only runs so deep 😂
Hi, Were there any restrictions in anchoring in Portland? Often wondered... We travelled much the same route as you in July/August, although the Scillies stayed out of reach once we got to Falmouth. Where are you travelling to next year? - Great videos btw.
There’s a couple of areas on the charts, if memory serves, which are restricted, but there’s plenty of room to drop the hook and the holding was really solid.
Next year I think it’s not so much where we’re going but more along the lines of WHAT we’ll be doing. We have so off-grid challenges we plan on doing and there’s still a load of coves and anchorages we never got to see and want to show off, so lots to look forward to 😁🙏⛵️
Hi, back to a full crew, how is Hank paws now? A great sail along the South Coast ,thanks to all , fair winds .
Hanks paws seem fine now. We’re wondering if perhaps it’s a reaction to salt water that he then licks repeatedly throughout the day? Will try washing his paws after each walk next time 🙏👌🏼
Just see your meet up with Mads and it explains a lot. Not that I can afford it at the moment but nevertheless I've been looking and looking for other Warrior's with the pullman type berth ala Cadoha because I think it looks (and probably works) great. Now I find you have the only one! After comparing boats do you reckon a V berth type could be converted reasonably easily or are any permanant features in the way?
If I was alone, I’d have our berth, as a couple, I very much prefer their V-berth, because I wouldn’t constantly be falling out of bed! Their actual sleeping space is much larger, our may look nicer (totally subjective) but I’d sooner have their set up, personally.
@@CadohaAdventures lol you are clearly sleeping on the wrong side! Or is it Hank causing the issue!! That's interesting though, as your bed looks huge.
@@AthelstanEngland it’s a wide angled camera 😜
Hi from Canada wishing to be living on a sailboat in the future..
Well then we wish you the very best of luck with your goal. Welcome aboard, mate ⛵️😁
i'm also from canada, aka frankw four fingers haha
Couldn't help laughing at the "Spear-fishing by M&S, and Lidl"! For those who don't know: M&S is a "posh", good quality supermarket - very dependable product; Lidl is a VERY cut price and often bizarre supermarket for what it stocks
Woah, I recognise the final scenes very well! I don't know why it surprises me but, no spoilers, seeing the Red Funnel ferry and that chimney must be known to pretty much every sailor in Britain and most of those ever to have visited by sea. A not SO LENTgthy scene.
OK, I lied about no hints
Chris is genuinely a hilarious person, I could probably just make a video of all the funny remarks he effortlessly comes out with 😁
need some details on the electric motor catamaran
