@@LADventure Aaaahhh... the locals. The people who choose to live in a village famed for having a theme park, then complain about it. Alton Towers should include the village of Alton on their park map, and label it as the KillJoy zone 😂
It was all because of the locals. They said it would be bad as around 140 trees needed to be cut down to fit the ride. Even though around 136 were diseased or dead already. Honestly, if you don't like the noise from the park or hate what it does, why move near by?
I still want my cross valley coaster, maybe use something quiet instead of wood, coz you have an amazing woodie now, like a Mack that could even weave through trees with launches - Imagine ICON at alton towers but with spinning cars maybe and through the valley and connect forbidden valley to dark forest coaster-wise, itd feel like the big one does in terms of length - the theme is the journey. I found myself lucky to be alive recently, so I was thinking of things ti fight for and I remembered this as something I wished I could see one day in some form.
The views would’ve been outstanding but I gotta say for the amount of track the layout doesn’t do a ton sadly. Wonder if they would’ve done more if it had actually happened
tbh, apart from the airtime on the 2nd valley drop looking crazy the rest of the layout is pretty dull, the pacing on the middle section in particular.
this ride will never happen as there is a high restriction and a notice restriction that why the Wickerman has tunnel on it to dampen the sound of the ride and non of the ride can go above to tree line at Dalton tower as that is also my local park
It didn't go above the trees at any point. It was all low to the ground. The lift hills were tree height and the deep drops used the churnet valley. It was the sound issue that stopped it like you say, but they were looking into dampening that with Intamin steel track.
Still very hopeful for a valley coaster someday 🤞🏼
If this was ever built, it would hands down be the best woodie in england
Most probably. Not many to choose from though!
@@LADventure Haha yeah that's true, but the few we have are definitely classics, and honestly great rides
They should revive these plans... and let RMC have a crack at it.
I agree, although not likely now. The amount of backlash they got from locals about this.

@@pookieluvvaA lot of them are old, have lived there before the rides were built and can't leave

Never say never. RMC appear to be involved with the park right now...
It's the UK's answer to the Beast, Shame Alton can't go higher than above the tree's..
Sure is, or would have been. Although, I often regard The Ultimate as the beast UK.
LADventure personally I think that honour goes to megafobia
Great Video! Is this simulation available to download in the steam workshop?
I don't think so. Just google No Limits Coaster. You can get a demo version from their website.
Hi could a use a little snippet of this for a video if I credit you?
Sure
