Thanks to Resin for unload strategy. AND ( Roofer / SIMULATED COMBAT PILOT ) And if you guys want to see masters of the climb watch some competition flights by KIAP squadron ( search for DCS Satac KIAP in TH-cam ) special thanks to those guys for inspiration to get me flying high and fast and out of the weeds

Comrade oh Comrade... what a superb video. Never seen a DCS video like this. Remember, the Flanker carries 21,000 lbs of gas. An Eagle performing this climb profile would need to have 8 missiles and 3, 600 gallon tanks. A Tomcat; 6 AIM -54s and 2 tanks. Getting past the Mach 1.2 to 1.3 is so important for high MACH high Altitude flight. Nice work Plazma! Top shelf video as usual.
Thank you sir, I didn't figure this out but just put my twist on it. In multiplayer you have very very many flanker pilots flying low they gotta get up high too. Hoping to inspire them
@@plazma1945 When they figure out how to get to high altitude (12,000+ meters) and high Mach (M1.8-2.0+) AND have the fuel reserves to STAY there, they will be successful and REDFOR will more than balance the scales of DCS combat.
and remember to jam intermittently :) .. just trying to get the redforce to be a challenge for the blue online in pvp.. thosemach 2.0 f15e eagles are just darn strong @@knightonwarbeck1969
you must be talking about Fox3 pvp multiplayer. In Fox1 PVP multi Red has quite the advantage as DCS's Aim7 is completely over matched. I think I can throw my toaster further and faster. Anyway....great video and good explanation. Cheers.
@@ChefsAssistant indeed. Now in western planes you can do same to give the missile a boost too even fox1s Also see my video about 27er being nerfed unlike the sparrow once it's notched it cannot reacquire whereas the aprraow can re lock again. Huge hit on flanker and Fulcrum since that change
Thanks this is exactly the kind of obscure tutorial ive been looking for, no one makes videos on climb profiles, which is odd, seeing as its something that needs to be done every sortie.
Nice tutorial! I am going to give this a try! I ran through the Drone Killer mission earlier today and noticed all my wingmen ejecting only 30 miles or so from Mozdok lol so I guess I need to learn more efficient climbing :P
Lolol. Also to survive in single player and PvP check my channel search for missile evasion notching.. I have a guide and a download link for a mission where u can take on enemy planes. It's voice guided and you can be in any jet in dcs to learn to defend aim120 missiles
In after burner? Like at a 30 degree climb yes u can do that too. You will bur through more fuel. Try to get to at least 2000 meters above the ground before going after burner. Imagine if you can save 500-800kg of fuel your airtime will boosted nicely. Lemme know if you try this, but yeah non after burn to at least 2000, 6000-7000 is great
@Plazma there are million and one dcs tutorial vidoes including from real pilots but never ever I heard tips like in this your video. You have earned my sub. Intrested in joing you guys and learning Redfor a/c. How you guys bring new members into fold?

You don't need to pull negative G's to unload the wing. Second thought, engines become more efficient FUEL wise at altitude, but they generate less power the higher you go. You either get there fast (flying fast) or you are not going to accelerate once you get there (like in the illustration). Nice video for beginner's though. I have UPRT stuff that you might like. Do you have a Discord?

Wonderful video! Something that is usually associated with more experienced pilots presented so that even someone new to DCS can understand it!
glad you liked it, let me know if you have any questions .. most important is that chart.. for altitudes thats the key
This is one of your best videos sir.
Thank you 😍 👆❤️

Awesome. Glad you like, this can be used for most aircraft but works real well for flanker migs and tomcats 👆✅

I usually go vertical after takeoff in the 29 until I reach 7000 meters, this seems to be more efficent tho!

мне очень нравиться летать против Фланкеров, пилоты сушек такие хитецы , особенно в горах ...
Да но, надо фдануерам летать высоко и быстро тоже
