Edit: I was thinking some more about it and I also realized, the Soul always has the top half of their face or sometimes their entire head cut of and out of frame, I believe this could maybe have something to do with "The eyes are windows to the soul". At the very end of Mucka Blucka they dip their head down and you can almost see his eyes. The mind and the soul are probably a bit of a stretch but it still is interesting.. Mind's hate for the other two is because they both tried to kill the host. At first it was Heart, who tried to kill the host because he felt empty and in pain, Mind was able to stop this and they were divided because of it. He hates Soul for the same reason, Soul in multiple songs threatened the Host to get them to stop fighting. Mind's ultimate purpose is to keep the host alive and the other two are working against that

i truly am intrigued to figure the depths of chonny's madness. mostly whether or not these songs reflect the jash's mental state. in my experience ive found that creativity and heavy mental illness typically overlap with heavy degree. (ex. joe hawley's nonsensical music and themes, with his mental state literally being up to debate.) whether or not this is only storytelling or the actual story of who they hear in their mind, i will eagerly await each and every song to come. edit: i read some parts of the dsm-5 to diagnose myself and realized, the story unfolding sounds similar to my own experience with borderline personality disorder.

huh, there is a lot of interesting attention to detail here; at 1:49, the shot of the bass being played, the nails are painted black and white; but it's been established earlier in the video that Mind's nails are painted black, which means that its supposed to represent both Heart (white) and Mind (black) playing it? i think something similar happened in The Soul Eclectic with the piano, too, but we couldn't verify their nail colors before. surprising amount of attention to detail for such small shots!
I think Soul has 1 hand painted white, one painted black, while Mind has both his painted black. The timestamped clip, he's wearing the same outfit as in some of the TME clips of Soul playing guitar so I think it's a safe bet that that's Soul

i really dont want to comment because im scared and i hate putting myself out there but i dont want to forget how this all made me feel. im also sorry if this is just me annoying you with what i think your narrative is but ive never felt so seen before. every song you write under new lyrics is as if its coming out of my mouth, every single one brings me one step further to explaining what ive been feeling for the past six years, but ill try to explain with what i have so far.
Im split into three, a person who wants to keep what ive had, a person who wants to confine with people who hate me to be loved by all, and the vessel that just walks around and does nothing. this feeling of love for some concept or story or song or anything that you cant have and that none will listen to or love will break you. trying to perfect it so the people who dislike it will even spare a passing glance, and inching away from the people who love you because they're the reason you're hated!!! but i can still say i tried right? tried to do this thing that i love? or am i just as bad as everyone else whos tried??? i dont want to jump to conclusions but ive never met, seen, or heard of anyone who felt the same, and everyone else just ignores it? not even a "hope you're doing well" and they just begged for mind electric? i would too though, its a great song and you did great with it, thrice. i just hope the two of us can save every piece of ourselves and create something incredible, my mind used to win over my heart but after your songs ive began to reconsider everything, the two of them can go great together. the two of us are more than just vessels and so much more than ourselves.
just thank you for creating your wonderful music and covers and saving me from so much pain.

i truly am intrigued to figure the depths of chonny's madness. mostly whether or not these songs reflect the jash's mental state. in my experience ive found that creativity and heavy mental illness typically overlap with heavy degree. (ex. joe hawley's nonsensical music and themes, with his mental state literally being up to debate.) whether or not this is only storytelling or the actual story of who they hear in their mind, i will eagerly await each and every song to come.
edit: i read some parts of the dsm-5 to diagnose myself and realized, the story unfolding sounds similar to my own experience with borderline personality disorder.

while the original cover felt like a comforting hug, this is more like a hug from a corpse; cold, and uncomfortable. and thats not a bad thing! while the first didnt stray *too* far from the original, this one took it for a ride in a completely different direction! (get it? taken for a ride? im so funny.) i especially like the part towards the end, where its nearly impossible to tell whos saying what

huh, there is a lot of interesting attention to detail here; at 1:49, the shot of the bass being played, the nails are painted black and white; but it's been established earlier in the video that Mind's nails are painted black, which means that its supposed to represent both Heart (white) and Mind (black) playing it? i think something similar happened in The Soul Eclectic with the piano, too, but we couldn't verify their nail colors before.

I think Soul has 1 hand painted white, one painted black, while Mind has both his painted black. The timestamped clip, he's wearing the same outfit as in some of the TME clips of Soul playing guitar so I think it's a safe bet that that's Soul

This song just like the others I've just recently been recommended to listen to today are really amazing and even though I don't know all the connections or the meanings behind they way its shown to me I'm still left to being able to make my own inferences about them. Only thing that I don't like is the visual glitching but I don't think there's any other style that works or fits really so its understandable.
