Kara no Kyoukai Sakuga MAD/AMV

I don't really know what to call this, honestly. The idea started out as a sakuga MAD for the series, though I kinda got a little obsessed with trying to make it flow well with the music so I added some extra clips. At this point, I feel like it's more like an AMV. I definitely didn't include EVERY single great bit of animation from the series, though I tried to put my favorites in there. This is very much an experimental work, seeing as I've never really done anything like this before. I was kinda cramming clips near the end, though overall I think this turned out ok. The main hindrance was that rather than clipping everything together and then finding appropriate music, I wanted to put in music tracks and then match up the visuals accordingly. Although, if I hadn't done this there could be a lot of mismatch with the nature of the scene and the music in the background. I also started to run out of music and had placed in almost all of the clips I had ready, so adding another song probably wouldn't have been justified by the allotted time. This might not be a problem if there just wasn't so many damn good looking bits of animation from this series. If I were to extensively collect them all I'd probably end up with a video potentially rivaling the length of one of the movies themselves. Hell, I didn't even include anything from Recalled Out Summer, which had a couple good bits.
Well, that aside this was a pretty enjoyable video to make. If I ever do something similar in the future I'll take some notes from this one.
