Protip for that first quest: It's important to remember that for now there is no Raven Rock Trader and the Skaal Blacksmith will not talk to you. That means for now your only services are the blacksmiths at Thirsk and here in Fort Frostmoth. All the more reason to leverage them I say! Make sure in the earlier stages of the investigation to give booze to the blacksmith (Zeno Fastus I think his name is?) to boost his disposition and get better deals for his services.
It also can't hurt having him happier to see you when you tap him as your informant on the Weapons smuggling

I've got fond memories of it, but I can't remember ever actually finishing it, so I'm really looking forward to it!

19:55 I'm sorry but that's on whoever made the terrain mod you're using. Those rocks are not there in vanilla and your legion companion has a clear and unobstructed path to the cave entrance normally. I do think it's cool how they tried to make it look more like a Skyrim style Barrow, but I'm getting the impression here that they didn't think about the quest itself when they did it or failed to test that aspect out first.

It may just be a navmesh error too, something may have updated since I installed it

I didn’t start the quest but wandered straight north. I’m yet to find the village. Maybe one day soon I will find the courage to return to that island

Feel like I've started this expansion so many times but never finished it. People seem to hate it

I loved it, personally. Especially compared to Tribunal, which had its amazing moments but ultimately was nothing compared to the scope of Bloodmoon (imo).

@@bulloney1819 I've finished it both ways, but I've more gone with Hircine.
It's just too much fun to throw a Quicksave and leap mountains, decimate ruins and slaughter an entire town.
... then reload and go about my day :)

I like to save my icarian flight scrolls and rp that theyre like a cutscene of new areas (im new to morrowind/ dont know the land) lol then I hit F9 to quick reload before hitting the ground

Way more dramatic than Dragonborn's slow crawl into Raven Rock, that's how I got to Andothren the first time!

Are you using OpenMW with the npc no collision turned on?

Only if I'm stuck in the environment, I have a silver dagger of heaven for levitation and massive amounts of speed
