Our HSR corridor is on 100% viaduct and is 100% ballast less with J-Slab tracks. Completely different from China which is using ballasts and convention tracks. Our HSR would have higher frequency than China because less requirement of maintenance and Inspection. We have also build 1000+ KM of DFC using conventional tracks and ballast base. Therefore understand the difference first. If we had build this the way china have build this corridor would be opened in couple of years.
In the next phases, it’s Better to go for: 1. At grade tracks in rural/ sparsely populated areas and; 2. Overhead/ underground tracks in cities. This is too slow & too expensive!
at grade level here ???? not possible even in rural areas. its out of the question so dont even mention such things. its always going to be overhead or underground. too many risks at grade levels.
Bullet trains need very flat ground to operate properly. Earthwork alone in challenging terrains will cost more than building piers not to mention entire line has to be fenced at grade tracks

This is not right. Build cycling tracks from ahmedabad to mumbai.
Train was supposed to start in 2023 , god knows when total track will be completed. Too much delay.
