    The Peugeot 508 looks stunning wherever you’re standing. (Assuming there’s one nearby.) It’s flawed though, so are those looks enough to pushyou into one? (Not literally.) Mark talks you through it.

    French cars are ones of the few that dare to be different. That is the beauty of it, not a flaw.

    Nice review as always Mark. You were more entusiastic about the agility of the Peugeot 508 GT on curvy roads when you reviewed the car in 2019 (before Vanarama channel). Then I realized that you were driving this time the 508 GT Hybrid. The non-hybrid GT with 225 HP from the 1.6 liters turbo is not longer available in the UK. That is sad. The weight of the hybrid has clearly a negative impact in its ability to go through curves. The non-hybrid 508 GT that I have feels nimble with its 1,420 kg. I am shorter than you so I do not feel cramped in the car. And the globebox in my 508 is not small, as my car has the wheel in the left side (the fuses are in left side of the car). There is no Arteon on offer where I live but I would prefer the 508 in any case because of its smaller size and light weight (and because it is a confy ride car, even looking so sporty, which is something good for the city roads in my country)

    Great review, knowledgeable and funny. Not sure why the banner said 181hp + 110hp = 225hp though.

    I have an Arteon and an very happy with it. When the lease runs out, I'm very tempted by this pug. Especially the really fast one! Great video. Does anybody know if this has adaptive cruise control? I've had that in my last 2 cars, and can't do without it now 👍

    Good all round review. However, why is this car seen to be a 'family' car? All the publicity I have read does not allude to it being a car to carry the family in. It is in a class of its own albeit the car has been put in the same class as the VW, Skoda, and Vauxhall contenders. I do not think the sleek fastback option would have been incorporated into this design if Peugeot really wanted to take on the Mazda 6, Vauxhall Insignia, or the Volkswagen Arteon.

    In all the fun stuff again there is a major point: "You are hemmed in", that is. "6ft or under", that is, too. Very tight around the shoulders due to the exterior shape.
    Folks, do not be mislead by the most individualistest (sigh ...) way of presentation, there is some serious consumer advice in there!

    I don't think I have heard you in recent videos mentioning limited view through post box shaped windows. This sad trend seems to be only countered by the x series BMWs. For me it is crucial to get the best visibility possible. Not that it matters for this car as I won't be buying anything French. Unless they change the way they make cars but I will not be holding my breath.

      @gbjwal1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@saintetienne755 I don’t speak for the rest of you. I was just saying that Company car drivers save a lot of money if a car does some mileage all electric. It’s why the bmw 330e is selling loads and why cars like this exist. Just my theory. A lot of people only commute 15 miles so they could run all electric most of the time. When they have to go to meetings, they’ll use the ice.
