He is deeply rooted in gospel music and has many gospel covers in both English and his original language Portuguese. He reportedly has had no formal training he is completely self-taught. First time hearing of Gabriel Henrique. His voice is very impressive. Especially having such a strong voice still when singing as high as he did in this video. But to be honest in the beginning there were a tad too many runs for my taste. That's just my personal taste however. And yes the very high notes did take me by surprise as well.
