My mom died at the end of last year. Now it's only my dad, my sister and I left of the entire family in this world. I would give anything to go back to my life before my mom passed. I am surrounded by beauty, but I can't enjoy any of it. It's as if I died when my mom died, yet I'm still alive; only I'm not really. Most days I don't care if I just didn't wake up ever again. Hope I live enough, and have enough luck to one day find something to give my existence any meaning, because right one, things are getting really rough. I don't know how much more I'm going to be able to hold on.

I did enjoy the rain. I always do. I wrote this over time, in my own time, in response to beautiful music, my offering. "Extremely human"... The streets shimmered with summer rain, showers of warmth overwhelming as I outstretched my arms to receive the tears of the sky, sliding down my arms were slivers of ice cold droplets that came from the overhead trees. I was lost in thought again, momentarily oblivious to passers-by who might stare at a man standing still in the rain, as I laughed with face upturned to the open sky and felt my hair being plastered to my head. The thought of colds-coughing and next day fevers never passing my mind. I had just found all the answers and even in that memory I recall my lessons. With the sweet songs of the sun come the shadows of the night, ominous as they may be, they still hold their innocence, their sheer beauty of unknowing of dreaming and dancing and of secret fumbling hands holding each other to take step after step together...pure, blind, faith. You're wise, wiser than anything I have ever known and I am always going to be yours, your lesson in life, in the teachings of god and ungod and innocence and struggling within to find a balance that never existed outside of us, but rather gave itself a name to fit into the few who are truly mentally impaired to feel such a thing...equal. How humbling. How overwhelming. How as one with you I feel. Through water lidded eyes I can remember you sitting there watching me in my imperfection, paint brush in hand stroke after stroke even when the colors ran in the rain...it's all natural...perfection is unnatural and only in letting what will be...be, do we receive from life that which was meant for us... If only the world understood that which has only just begun to touch the fingertips of the blind. What is there beyond labels of creatures of the unknown? of...extremely human? Where do we fit in besides each other’s hearts? Nowhere else, which is "exactly" where we belong. Nowhere alone taking first steps onto the shore of knowledge. I've lost my dear grandfather last July. I couldn't see him one last time due to Covid restrictions. Usually I like to go sleep while I am listening to chill songs, I have been doing that for 5 years already, not everyday but often. Yesterday I went to sleep, overthinking about my life and how all this crazy things from Covid19 is going on around the world. I left some songs playing while I was already sleeping. I woke up some minutes after it because this wonderfull track started to play, and I could fell it in my dreams. It's raining today, a heavy rain, outside and in my thoughts. Not quite sure what you mean by not reaching the end. Believe me brother things do get better in life if you work at it. I loved a girl all my life and I am now 64. When I was 61 I had to watch her die. Even after a long life I thought my life would end but I got through the pain. I have lost count of old friends who have died through drink, drugs, accidents or just plain bad luck, that's life man. In the last 10 years I have 5 big heart attacks but I still keep my chin up. We have a saying in the UK, "DON'T LET THE BASTARDS GRIND YOU DOWN".

I'm glad you've stuck around and didn't give up that easily. You're strong in mind for sure. As by not reaching the end i mean't i had ideas of what to do in life and i did try my best not to give up that easily in the past years but everytime i take one step towards it, I get pushed down 5 steps. I've tried to push hard, trust me, all these years I've worked my ass off on things that i love to do and grew better day by day. But now it seems no one wants to open doors and give me an opportunity to prove myself. Got shut out from everything. Even no friends for support. I try to be friends with someone and they take my kindness as a sign of creep and just leave without a word. And i dont mind that either. I cant afford to lose what i love to do but as of how things are going, I have no choice nor do i see any.

I was lost in thought again, momentarily oblivious to passers-by who might stare at a man standing still in the rain, as I laughed with face upturned to the open sky and felt my hair being plastered to my head. The thought of colds-coughing and next day fevers never passing my mind. I had just found all the answers and even in that memory
I recall my lessons.
With the sweet songs of the sun come the shadows of the night, ominous as they may be, they still hold their innocence, their sheer beauty of unknowing of dreaming and dancing and of secret fumbling hands holding each other to take step after step together...pure, blind, faith.
You're wise, wiser than anything I have ever known and I am always going to be yours, your lesson in life, in the teachings of god and ungod and innocence and struggling within to find a balance that never existed outside of us, but rather gave itself a name to fit into the few who are truly mentally impaired to feel such a thing...equal. Through water lidded eyes I can remember you sitting there watching me in my imperfection, paint brush in hand stroke after stroke even when the colors ran in the rain...it's all natural...perfection is unnatural and only in letting what will be...be, do we receive from life that which was meant for us...

I've lost my dear grandfather last July. I couldn't see him one last time due to Covid restrictions. When I listen to this song I can imagine him closing his eyes for the very last time before leaving for a new world.

Usually I like to go sleep while I am listening to chill songs, I have been doing that for 5 years already, not everyday but often. Yesterday I went to sleep, overthinking about my life and how all this crazy things from Covid19 is going on around the world. I left some songs playing while I was already sleeping. I woke up some minutes after it because this wonderfull track started to play, and I could fell it in my dreams. It's raining today, a heavy rain, outside and in my thoughts.

Not quite sure what you mean by not reaching the end. Believe me brother things do get better in life if you work at it. I loved a girl all my life and I am now 64. When I was 61 I had to watch her die. Even after a long life I thought my life would end but I got through the pain. I have lost count of old friends who have died through drink, drugs, accidents or just plain bad luck, that's life man. In the last 10 years I have 5 big heart attacks but I still keep my chin up. We have a saying in the UK, "DON'T LET THE BASTARDS GRIND YOU DOWN".

As by not reaching the end i mean't i had ideas of what to do in life and i did try my best not to give up that easily in the past years but everytime i take one step towards it, I get pushed down 5 steps. I've tried to push hard, trust me, all these years I've worked my ass off on things that i love to do and grew better day by day. But now it seems no one wants to open doors and give me an opportunity to prove myself. Got shut out from everything. Even no friends for support. I try to be friends with someone and they take my kindness as a sign of creep and just leave without a word. And i dont mind that either. I cant afford to lose what i love to do but as of how things are going, I have no choice nor do i see any.
