Now that's a fantastic spinner bait. Leaving it thin and not bulky and fishing it fast. It will have a lot of swimming motion. The fish will not be able to stand it. Let us know how much fun you have. Be blessed. My friend.

Looks great! White works anytime & anywhere. It also catches just about any fish.
I caught my first musky on a white spinnerbait up in Canada. It was just short of 40 inches. I was fishing all morning for musky until my arm got tired. I had one hooked but he came off. I started bass fishing to salvage my arm and that's when the musky grabbed my spinnerbait.
I've never tried a War Eagle but I'm sure they're great. I have a large box of spinnerbaits and most of them are Strike King which were always good enough for the price. I just finished 6 bass spinnerbaits and 6 musky versions from scratch with raw blanks from Lure Parts Online.
On some of them, I mixed materials. I have round silicon rubber in rolls and mixed some with bucktail, tinsel, etc. I see many musky versions selling online with all flashabou skirts. I really don't think pike & musky care what's hanging off the back so it's mostly for our artistic liking.

Lure parts online has some great stuff! I agree, we spend a lot of time and effort on a bait but a hungry fish isnt very picky! Happy 4th!
