Such an underrated low key car. Still see a handful driven daily on the road today.

The best car that I ever had was my 1998 Olds 88 and for almost 12 years, the car that I've owned longer than any other that I've had. Sadly, I had to take it off the road in 2019 after my mechanic found some severe rust on the subframe especially around the area on the passanger side where it was bolted to the main unibody but It was a safety issue. At the time, the 3.8 V6 had well over 200,000 on the clock and it still ran like a champ and never burned any oil.
I still miss it to this day.

Yep, that was the crux with these - they loved to rust out. Sad because I bet a lot would still be on the road here in Canada if it weren’t for the rust.

In 1995, I rode with my dad some sixty miles, in a 1986 NINETY Eight, to trade it in for a used 1992 Eighty Eight, in light blue. No idea for how much. Probably less than $10,000. It had remote locking + trunk pop, the upgraded auto-climate, power driver seat, power recline passenger seat, and we were a family of 6, four boys in the back seat. This was mom's car, and my dad drove a 1990 Silverado Suburban. My parents traded their 1992 88 in 2001 for a 1997 Buick Park Avenue.

"So this is what we could have if we did not have motorweek!" I thought at first, yet the lesson this video provided me with in terms of understanding the concept correlation between the world view that modern media provides me with and my perception of what it was like in the bygone decades is just priceless.. Here we go a long sentence. But I do think that.

They should have tested the Pontiac Bonneville of this era(92-99) it was the best designed and best looking out of the bunch I had a few of the Bonnevilles the only other car I would consider buying from this platform was the Buick Park Avenue

They review the car. Like ...engine this, seats that, suspension this and styling that. And then, THEY TRASH IT INTO THE DUMBSTER.

Hahahaha yeah right looks like Infiniti a-ha!!!! It has a softer suspension than European cars hahahaha softer suspension alright even the smallest of pot holes make it act like a ship on a rough sees for f sake!!! Get the motion sickness from his "softer suspension"!!!Handling is great he says hahahaha a-ha FANTASTIC!!!!
