I’ve depended on this channel so much and follow it to a T. Because I don’t have a mom to teach me to be a mom, I lost both of my parents at a young age and you have been such an amazing help to me, and now that my baby is 9 months, I’m so excited for this. Thank you so much Emily, everything you’ve said has been so helpful and works so well. Thank you. ❤️
The first few were more challenging than the last ones because I had so much to learn. But, I loved every minute of raising these kids and wouldn't change a thing! Savor the moments...they go fast.
I had 5 kids in 6 years....then 5 years later (after being told I could never have more), I had 3 more kids in a 5 year span; my youngest was born when my oldest was 16. How did I do it? One day, one laugh, one diaper at a time. I think remembering that I didn't have to do their entire childhood in one day was good. And laughter.
Your baby videos and updates provides a lot of inspiration and confidence to me as a first time mum. My baby is now 3 months old and I'm trying to introduce some routines for the days in addition to the nightly routine. I've been blessed with a baby that decides to sleep through the nights at 2 months.
There's nothing better than a child who has a routine. You are so lucky to still have little ones. My kids are grown up, but speaking about babies make me so broody Greetings from Port Elizabeth, South Africa
It is so fun to watch all kind of updates of Jackson... Whether it is monthly updates or routines or anything else.. By watching this routine, i feel like my baby is doing good... Thanks for sharing.. 😍
You are a life saver! I watched your other routine for younger babies about letting your baby go to bed sleepy but a wake and that was the key for my little guy. Before I would try and nurse him to sleep and that didn't work well bc he always had to have that to sleep. Now he will go to sleep on his own most nights unless he is teething. So thank you for the tips!
ever since I gave birth to my son in January I simply live by your videos. I bought things that you recommend, I take your advice on how to be calm and happy (doesn't work always :D) and I just wanted to say how I appreciate you making the time to post all the vids. Pretty please never stop. You are my role model and you have such an amazing family. Big kiss from my tiny family to yours
I love all of your videos! I find the routine videos really helpful! I would love to see a video on how you get Jackson to nap so well. Were there any tricks you used with your boys to get them to nap on their own?
I’m in desperation over here 😭 my 9 month old still wakes up every 2-3 hours and drinks 2-4oz from a bottle. I’m so sleep deprived I feel like a zombie. And no matter if I put him down at 6/6:30/6:45/7/7:30 he’s still up for good between 5:45am and 6am. HELP
Nada Khan honestly it went on for so long that at 16months I just had to bite the bullet, put him in his own room (safely obviously lol) and let him cry it out. I know it’s controversial but different strokes for different folks and within 3 nights he was sleeping solid through the night from 7-6:30/7 so CIO worked for us 🥳 good luck mama! Being a zombie is no fun. A rested happy mama is a good mama.
Thank you so much for these videos! I'm a first time mom and my son just turned nine months old. I've been following allowing with your videos since he was born and your videos have been so helpful to this first time mama.
Emily! This Friday I born my baby girl :) I was watching so many of your videos during my pregnancy that I think now she recognizes your voice, especially the videos' beginning: 'Hi guys, welcome back to my channel' :) Your positive attitude helps me to be quite relaxed new mom. Wish you and your family all the best and looking forward for new videos, not only me but my daughter as well :)
I love all of your videos! My little boy is only a week younger than Jackson and I have followed you since I found out I was pregnant last January! His routine is almost the same but he has his afternoon nap 2-3 and bed at 7 :) so glad you are doing so well with your channel! Hope your enjoying Paris!
I love watchimg your routine videos because my twin girls are now 8 mobths old and I've been following you since I was pregnant with them. You have helped me so much would love to hear from you. You're practically the only youtuber I watch !
Wow he sleeps 6:30pm till 7am??!!? :o my almost 7 months still wakes up every 2 hours sometimes less and only sleeps around 8-9 hrs. I'm exhausted on a daily basis . I'm shook! lol
Diana Kukanova yes! My 9 month old is finally "only" waking up twice in the night. When his sleep was at his worst it was every 45 minutes. Hang in there! I know people think I am crazy to enjoy him waking twice, but I still am recovering from the every two hours. I feel your pain. ☺️
Diana Kukanova it's so interesting seeing how different babies are sometimes. My 2 month old sleeps 8pm-8am. some nights he wakes up once. I am lucky I guess! I hope the night get better for you mamas!
Ashleigh Ryan i feed him too when he wakes up. When you are so tired it's just easier way to put him back to sleep. What did you do? May be I need a consultant too
Omg, you are blessed my 11 month old sleeps from 9 until 5.30/6, then a morning nap of 1 hour and sometimes if I'm lucky he has 45 mins in the afternoon. I'm so tired.
My first baby is just 10 months and there's a few little differences with waking time etc but basically the same routine gives me a confidence boost that I'm getting it right ❤️
Hi Emily :) I'm 17 and don't have a baby but I love your videos because I love learning as much as I can about having kids and what to do and what happens when you have a baby and all that, but lately I've really been wondering how the weaning process works. Could you make a video walking us through that?
Love your videos emily .. I think I'm addicted to u. I watch ur videos every night after I put my baby to sleep .He will also turn 1 year old this sept , soo excited xx!
Hi Em! I absolutley love your videos and im so glad that i found your chanel! Im not a mum, and im not even close to being one (im only 14) but it proves that everyone enjoys them!!
It's so great hearing how adaptable Jackson is at napping - my daughter (my first child!) only naps at home in her Sleepyhead which makes getting out very tough. Was Jackson always good like this or did you ever have issues with sleep deprivation if he didn't nap?
Hi Emily! Enjoy watching your channel, such great content. I'm a day Dad and work nights. Mom works days and takes over when I go to work. Any tips on nail trimming for a very active 1 year old boy? Thanks
I have the exact same issue with my 10 month old! I have found if I catch my daughter seeming really chilled and calm I will sit her in my lap and use the Tommee Tippee blunt baby nail scissors and cut her nails. Just to get one hand done is an achievement! Another good time is when my daughter is in her highchair and I have her harness on, so there is no where to wriggle off to! Hope any of these solutions may be helpful! Good luck - it is tricky :)
hey emily thankz for the update, which comforter does jackson has about which ur talking? miss the small clips u used to put in ur video im assuming bcz ur on paris trip.. jus love those small clips u put in between of ur kidz.
Loved this video of jackson emily! Seeing this makes me so look forward to when my Evie turns 11 months and also makes me feel already like an expert mom with your tips. Also congrats on making it to august 15 for vlogust. I've been faithfully watching each day and always look forward to the notification of a new post. Way to go!:))
my lg is 10months and our routine is pretty much the same as yours except she doesn't go for nap till half9/10 and wakes at 11 so she goes to bed at 8 which has always worked out great for us x
thank you for those videos! I'm trying to implement the same schedule for my baby but she's waking up at 5:30 in the morning! Do you keep Jackson awake until his nap time no matter how tired he can be? Or do you adjust to the length of time he has been awake?
Emily great video thank you, would love to hear how you worked with Jackson to self settle after last milk feed. Feeding (bf) to sleep is something we're really trying to break here with our 8 month old.
Great video, I have three sons too 6, 3 and 7 months. my routine is pretty much exactly same my son also sleeps through till 6/7am. I was so shocked though as my 2nd wanted feeding all the time through night till was around 10 months I was so tired haha. Xx
That’s great how well he sleeps etc - my third baby is 10 months and she still wakes up 5/6/7 times a night and it’s slowly killing me and I don’t know what else to try that I haven’t already - my first two kids slept so well this is a complete shock to the system x
Love your videos Emily! You have such a nice routine and Jackson is such a good baby... My third is a girl and she is 9 months old and still wakes up every 2 hours! We are moving her to her room and starting Ferber method... I have no other choise... Anyway... How can I get her to have some toy like favorite?
Love love love your videos!!! My daughter is nine months and 3 weeks, and she can only sleep from 9 pm to 5 am. She needs a bottle at 5am then she will go back to sleep for 2 more hours. I really like to change her routine. What should I start first?
It's nice to see your routine :) I have two child and both have the same routine (almost the same) as yours. The only different is that I bath my kids at 5pm then feed them dinner. Other than that we are the same :) looking forward to see your next video ❤
H Emily, thank you for sharing Jacksons routine. Can you please tell me how much milk Jackson drinks from from the beaker. I've been offering it to my 11 month old and she takes only few sips. I have been using the basic tommie tippee sippy cup which I still use to give her water.
Omg Jackson seems like an amazing child! My son just turned 1 and has never slept a full night! Hes up almost every 45mins for a feed or just to be reminded i havent left him
I love your videos ,thanks a lot for sharing it. I have a 9 months old girl so the timing is perfect for me. I don't know how you do all of that plus the videos and keeping your home nice and taking care of yourself and making three meals..I am strugelling a lot with only one...my daughter is a bad eater, I tried everything and she still doesn't eat well , it is so depressing , I think this is my biggest problem :(
Yaaaay! I've been looking forward to this video!! My little girl seemed like she needed a change of routine now she's a little older so I'm nabbing this one! Thank you! 😘 x
Hi Emily, Your videos are great. I especially like the updates on Jackson. He is so cute & such a happy baby. Just curious, do you follow Gina Ford's Contented Baby Routines for Jackson & possibly Fraser & Caleb? I'm really enjoying your daily vlogs.
Hey Emily, I have a baby daughter the same age as Jackson, could you tell me what temperature you keep Jacksons room in overnight? Im always concerned its either to warm or to cold, Thanks for the videos, that frozen yoghurt hack by the way..amazing!
Hi! I came over from Meg's channel! My Baby boy is 7 months old. We have been putting him down for bed time and just trying to let him fall asleep on his own but he sure does put up a fight. Did your baby cry while putting himself to sleep? He also still wakes up sometimes 1-3 times a night. I need to figure out how to get him to just go back to sleep in the middle of the night instead of wanting to feed.
Hi Emily I'm really enjoying your videos so thanks ☺just wondering when you started a bedtime routine? I'm breastfeeding my second so am finding it very different than bottle feeding as was my first experience
Would you say he is now on three proper meals or are they still really small bites? I'm just tying to work out how much food to give as they still have three lots of milk it makes me worry il give my son too much x
Hi emily! Was wondering if you could do a favorite outfits video? You have been wearing such cute outfits lately that i would love to purchase myself! Hehe you are so beautiful inside and out! I am a mom of 3 myself...:)
Another great video! I agree, babies need to get themselves off to sleep in their own beds. Does Jackson transfer from car to buggy or car to bed well if he has his second nap in the car?
How did you make him fall asleep on his own???? I did everything wrong, if you can say that. My baby is 9months old, fall asleep only with me, i’m no breastfeeding anymore, but he is clinged to me. He cries a lot if i leave him in bis bed😞
My partner works late and our baby just won't nap in the day so she's usually in bed by 5.30-6 but because my partner isn't there to help with our oldest who is 4 I end up having my eldest downstairs with tv while I put baby down have you had that before?
In general how much do you think each meal should be in ml. Milk and solids. Do we still count average 1 kg (weight of baby) ~ 100 ml (food). If you have any information I need to know as i am still struggling with a10 months baby boy waking up twice at night to eat. (He is 10kgs eating an average of 1100 ml of solids+milk) Thank you for your reply
Hi Emily my daughter is 9 months now so found this video very useful😀 did you move from breast milk straight to cow’s milk no formula whatsover? thank you
I have been rocking my baby to sleep almost every night he is getting his molars now i miss him falling asleep on his own in his crib lol he 15 months about to be 16 months next week he doesn't walk yet just holding things while he does and on his tip toes do u know of any feet exerices? Dr said prob by 18 months if he still walking on his tip toes prob have to see a specialist...
It was very helpful. Our first had no problem sleeping through the night from night 1; but our second Jaxxson, from 3- 6 months he slept awesome, I do the bed routine that Ive done since our first was born, now he goes down at 6-630 until 10pm thats his last bottle, he wakes up at 2 am for another one and then wakes up for the day at 7am. Can you do a video on that, did Fraser or Caleb give you the same or a similar fight?
Thanks for this video I really enjoyed it :) my baby boy is 11 weeks old and his routine is very similar to Jacksons, I love a good routine and like you put my baby down to sleep whilst he is awake xx
What do you put in Jackson's sandwiches? I have seen him eating the small squares a few times but can't make out what is in there. I would love to try it for my little one when he is old enough.
I know you always put Jackson down sleepy but awake but didn't you have to feed to sleep in the early days? I'm trying to stop doing this but my little boy doesnt get his sleep if I do. I put him in his cot and most of the time he doesn't settle or it takes forever. Did you just have to wait it out and eventually they learn to self settle but deal with a tired baby?
I don't have children so I can't really relate, but I want to say giirl you make it seem so easy and fun :D found your channel today from your recent collab with Love Meg. Subscribed! Greetings from Sweden!
Hi Emily, thank you for your videos they are truly helpful to me, I'm a first time mom my son is now 5 month old and I'm figuring things out as I go but watching your videos has helped me in preparing. I was wondering what do you recommend my son wakes up during the night 2-3 times so I'm in a need of sleep what do you recommend I do so he can sleep more? His doctor said to feed him rice cereal to help him go longer without a feeding it helps but he still wakes up and wants to be held. Any suggestions?
My 10 month old can't self sooth. If I try put her down sleepy she cries until I pick her up again (I am trying not to nurse her to sleep). Any tips for the transition phase? X
hey ,if anyone else wants to uncover baby sleep lullaby try Calmer Fixer Blueprint (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my neighbor got amazing results with it.
You’re so lucky. My baby only naps for like 20-30 mins, maybe 2-3 times a day. I need help! We are luck if our baby stays asleep for 6 solid hours at night. I struggle, my baby is teething and fussy, and won’t go to sleep by herself. We’ve tried letting her fall asleep on her own but she screams. Any help mamas out there? I live in an apartment so I cant let the baby “cry it out,” nor do i want to let her. How much food do u feed?
I know how you feel my boys all 3 yes I got 6,3,1 but all in good routine dinner 5pm,change little bit of tv gives me enough time to clean kitchen and bed by 7pm sharp.cant stress how important a routine is if your working or not as if you have a pattern your child knows you mean business.really liking your videos Emily have learned so much as we are all on this journey no matter which background caste or religion personally I am Muslim and it's hard to find balance with western culture rights and wrongs of what to follow as peer pressure on small kids is immense these days.aby suggestions on how to balance would be appreciated have a good day
Hi Emily. I remember from your 3-6 month routine it looked like you put Jackson down to nap in a dark room. Do you still do this and do you use blackout blinds? Thanks x
Sorry one more question. I know for teething you give calpol, liquid ambasol and teething powder but what do you do/use when Jackson has a cold, especially at night? My baby is 8 months old. Thank you xxxxxx
My routine is similar to yours but my baby is refusing food right now he’s 11 months but has been sick with a cold for about 3 weeks now since starting daycare and it’s horrible because he’s breastfed and won’t eat or drink at daycare so I’m going to try to introduce cows milk to him to see how it goes maybe I can wean him also. Love all your vids Emily your such an inspiration to me and my mommy channel xoxo 😘

It's kind of fun to hear your routine. I have 8 kids...they are all grown...but it's fun to look back on the "routine" years....
Tricia Johnson oh my word! Eight kids I can't even imagine! I feel like I have a handful with one toddler and a baby on the way 😂
The first few were more challenging than the last ones because I had so much to learn. But, I loved every minute of raising these kids and wouldn't change a thing! Savor the moments...they go fast.

Thanks for sharing your schedule! I have a 9 month old girl and it's always nice to see what schedule other moms have with their babies. :)
Thank you so much for telling me the times you do with your child out gives me a humongous window of what I should be doing with mine

Hey Emily! Please may you do a planning video (if you have a planner)? I would love to know how/if you plan!
Love these Baby Routine Videos, I've just had my second son after a 7 year break lol It's amazing how quickly you forget what you did last time!
Omg, you are blessed my 11 month old sleeps from 9 until 5.30/6, then a morning nap of 1 hour and sometimes if I'm lucky he has 45 mins in the afternoon. I'm so tired.

How do you start to get a baby 'into' a routine? I have a four month old and would like to know how to establish one? I envy your routines!

hi, great video. I was wondering if you tried offering cow's milk in a bottle or just start straight with the beaker? Thanks.
thank you for those videos! I'm trying to implement the same schedule for my baby but she's waking up at 5:30 in the morning! Do you keep Jackson awake until his nap time no matter how tired he can be? Or do you adjust to the length of time he has been awake?

So excited for you that you're almost at 100,000 subcribers! Well deserved 😊
Hi what is a beaker? Sleeping bag? He sleeps all not? Do j change diaper during night?
I love your routines. makes the days simple and I get spare time during naps for me time or at night to do some research and study:)
It's nice to see your routine :) I have two child and both have the same routine (almost the same) as yours. The only different is that I bath my kids at 5pm then feed them dinner. Other than that we are the same :) looking forward to see your next video ❤
I can't wait to be a mother you are my inspiration and not my actual mum I love you and your family sooo much and wish all the best to you xx
Hes up almost every 45mins for a feed or just to be reminded i havent left him
mine too!
I love your videos ,thanks a lot for sharing it. I have a 9 months old girl so the timing is perfect for me. I don't know how you do all of that plus the videos and keeping your home nice and taking care of yourself and making three meals..I am strugelling a lot with only one...my daughter is a bad eater, I tried everything and she still doesn't eat well , it is so depressing , I think this is my biggest problem :(
This is very useful. I like your routine. Thank you~
I love hearing your routines but it’s a bit difficult for us to have an earlier bedtime since we have to be out late some evenings.... any tips?
Yaaaay! I've been looking forward to this video!! My little girl seemed like she needed a change of routine now she's a little older so I'm nabbing this one! Thank you! 😘 x
So glad you found it helpful! Thank you so much for watching xx
Hi Emily,
Your videos are great.
I love how well done your videos are! Which program do you use to edit them?
How do you get him to go sleep our 9 month old will only go down at any time if fed to sleep?
Hi Emily my daughter is 9 months now so found this video very useful😀 did you move from breast milk straight to cow’s milk no formula whatsover? thank you
I just found your chanel and I love it! ♡
Mom of 2 girls from Finland.
Love your videos Emily, been watching you for a while all the way from Sydney, Australia. Where do you get most of your dresses from?
You are such a sweatheart, Emily♡
Hi Emily from Chicago 👋🏽 I'm a first time mom at 22 weeks I'm just wondering do you ever break this routine? Xoxo
Thanks for this video I really enjoyed it :) my baby boy is 11 weeks old and his routine is very similar to Jacksons, I love a good routine and like you put my baby down to sleep whilst he is awake xx
Ellie Sumner ah good on you Ellie. 11 weeks old, so precious. I miss that age already. Thank you so much for watching xx
My baby is 9 month old and he wakeup at sleep night many time 😭 and he cry until i feed him milk ....how I make him sleep straight at all night ?
Love love love your videos, I'm new to your channel and just feel like watching all your videos in one go, thank you so much xx ♥️♥️
How did you get him to sleep in his bed? Cry it out method or? Great video...An inspiration :)
Love it as always!!
Trupthi Chandrashekar Thank you so much for watching Trupthi xx
Emily can you do a routine for the older boys? What they do when there is no school? Thank you :-)
Ooh okay - I can. Thank you xx
Love your videos and that you post everyday this month! :) Also I would love to see a video about your round the world trip :)
Okay! It was a while ago though :-) Thank you so much for watching xx
Though my baby girl is only 5 months old I still love to watch Jackson's routine videos 😍 xoxo
Aw! Thank you so much for watching xx
hey ,if anyone else wants to uncover baby sleep lullaby try Calmer Fixer Blueprint (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my neighbor got amazing results with it.
Great video like always xx
Lucy Hughes Thank you so much for watching Lucy xx
You’re so lucky. My baby only naps for like 20-30 mins, maybe 2-3 times a day.
I need help! We are luck if our baby stays asleep for 6 solid hours at night. I struggle, my baby is teething and fussy, and won’t go to sleep by herself. We’ve tried letting her fall asleep on her own but she screams. Any help mamas out there? I live in an apartment so I cant let the baby “cry it out,” nor do i want to let her.
How much food do u feed?
I know how you feel my boys all 3 yes I got 6,3,1 but all in good routine dinner 5pm,change little bit of tv gives me enough time to clean kitchen and bed by 7pm sharp.cant stress how important a routine is if your working or not as if you have a pattern your child knows you mean business.really liking your videos Emily have learned so much as we are all on this journey no matter which background caste or religion personally I am Muslim and it's hard to find balance with western culture rights and wrongs of what to follow as peer pressure on small kids is immense these days.aby suggestions on how to balance would be appreciated have a good day
Your videos are so helpful. I have a five month old boy & my first port of call for any tips is to pop iver to your channel :)
becky baker ah that's so good to hear Becky, I'd better keep it up then! Thank you so much for watching xx
I'm expecting my first son on December and yours videos for me are so priceless Emily! Thank you! 😘💙💙💙
Keep smiling emily ❤
Smile suits you. Love you and your family specially fraser caleb and jackson ❤❤❤
