Im blown away watching these guys working on the engine just sitting on the table like that...I have had bad experience doing this as the oil pan and collapse and cause the oil pickup to starve for oil

Pet, in the US we call the Canadian frost plugs what they are meant for, which is freezing water to have a pressure relief area instead of freezing with cracking the engine block or heads. Professional auto technicians call the part FREEZE PLUGS, because a little frost has no metal splitting power!

I like how he says in the beginning of the video IT VERY IMPORTANT MAKE SURE U TURN THE CRANK THE WAY IT RUNS now look at timeline 3.44 he goes counter clockwise on the crank I might be splittin hairs.

I think he was cranking it correctly. If I’m not mistaken, he was turning it from the back end of the engine. So from that point of view, you crank it the other way

@@ddueck7640 He was rotating it counterclockwise. Not that it would damage anything, it's just funny he's pointing out not to rotate the crank backwards as he's rotating it backwards.

Looks like a standard 5 quart oil pan- I had a 427/425 in a Yenko clone I built and it had a Chevy 7/8 quart pan
