I have my first wheelchair, a basic off the shelf chair, upstairs. I'm ambulatory, so can walk a little bit, dependent on how my health is. Up and down the stairs, I'm safest going on my bottom. In an ideal world, we'd have a stair lift, but it's not possible at the moment.
It certainly feels like it! I think it's one ongoing problem that hasn't yet been properly sorted. So frustrating. I'm still having problems with the front caster wheels, which has been ongoing for almost the entire life of the chair. 😭

How do you get your wheelchair up and down stairs? Or can you "walk"/bumshuffle around?
