If my router ever loses power, it will reassign new IPs for my devices when it regains power and the settings I had for port forwarding my game will likely not work because my PC's IP changed due to DHCP from the router.

Anyways, jokes aside, a bit of constructive feedback: it would have been helpful to state why you could choose a Google DNS server instead of your own, what's the benefit? Bear in mind people not all of us are tech savvy hence the fear of being hacked.

Ideally you want to assign a static IP address from outside your DHCP range. You could redefine your DHCP range on your router so it's between 192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.199 - then you could assign the static address 200 and know it is outside the DHCP range. if you do that your pc will always have the right IP address even if you change your network hardware in your PC (i.e. your MAC address).
Why not just create a static ip for the specific computer in the router? Unless the router doesn’t allow for you ro create a static ip in the router, I would suggest setting a static ip in the router.
That is stupid! You just pick a fourth digit? Don't check if it's used or going to be used? You have to check your dhcp.conf file of the dhcpd server to make sure your not going to get a conflict! You really need to learn how dhcp works!
