- My Africa Twin with SW Motech accessories fitted, Tank ring for tank bag, Engine bash plate, Engine bars, Centre Stand and Centre stand protection plate, Side stand foot and Chain guard extension. Luggage to follow in the next couple of weeks. Anyone considering accessories for their new Africa Twin should seriously look at what SW Motech have on offer, many very practical accessories with great engineering and top quality.

Hi, I like the Dakar race number. Where did you get that from?
I'm trying to fit the SW motech bars and having a tough time ! The left hand side I cant get to line up properly - can you remember whether the mounting struts you attach to the frame were symmetrical ? As I noticed mine are not, so when I try and line up the holes in the front plates, they are about 1.5in out on the left, but the right side fitted fine. I wonder if one of my mounting struts is faulty.

Have you dropped the bike since putting on the SW Motech engine bars? I really like the look of these bars better than the Touratech, HONDA, or Hepco&Becker bars, but I've seen a few comments from owners saying the SW Motech bars don't provide enough protection for the upper part of the fairing. Be nice to hear your feedback :)
Mark Hodges thankfully not dropped her yet!! I did see a video of one layer over and the top fairing did not touch the ground, of course if the ground were uneaten then that could occur. Certainly can't fault SW Motech quality of ease of fitting, very well made kit.
What foot pegs are those?
Foot pegs are from eBay for An XR650 about £15.00
