You mean a drummer with an insane amount of talent and dedication, very capable of cherry picking the greatest bits of stuff that was played almost a century ago and blending it into something non-original, but certainly new? If this is independent style and feel for you, you missed out on a lot of drummers.
Pretty sure he's the reincarnation of Buddy Rich. Same ferocity, same endurance, same blazing fast singles, same murderous stare while laying into his ride.
No that was really Miles Teller (the actor) playing the Caravan solo in the movie. It took 2 days to shoot and he had to go through a two month training with another drummer, but he was already a drummer himself.
Fabulous young drummer. He had the Brand X gig, but with John Goodsall's unexpected passing, Brand X is no more. But Greyson will be heard from in something new I'm sure. Interesting left hand technique of thumb pressure to forefinger to thumb to middle finger and back. But someone please get this guy some spikes on the hi hat stand.
Don’t get me wrong, He’s incredible and 1000 times the drummer I’ll ever be. But, I can’t help but feel like he doesn’t spend enough time internalizing time and would benefit from something like a regular Gap click workout as well as making a point to not rush fills and keep his notes on the grid. It’s very cool to see Greyson finally getting some formal publicity :)
I've been tappin' the tubs for over 60 years and I've never seen anything like this. That left hand...for gosh sake, somebody turn off the generator. In my opinion he has no equal - past or present. Complete mastery of the instrument. Good grief!!!! Adjectives fail me. I don't see any way he could improve.

What’s with two cymbals of the same size?
They're hand hammered so they sound different from each other.
They could be waited differently. I use 4 18" 70's Zildjian crashes on my set up.
