I've also visited there. There was one big lake too,where people were boating and my one of the best part was seeing a MACAU he was just roaring though it's a bird + I visited GURUDWARA too and my sis's home in Patna is just 1 km away from Zoo.

I love visiting zoos and national parks wherever I go. In India, the best zoo is in Darjeeling, which is rated among top 10 In Asia. This Patna Zoo is ok. The gurudwara is splendid. I visited one in Delhi, Secunderabad and Punjab.
