Onsies that are a bit too big are good to go over other clothes underneath... like just plain white onesies for the times when it's really cold... then they fit it snuggly... Violet is gorgeous... I'm painting a Quinlyn atm... just need to do her hair... so thank you for her size in clothes... yet to check that out... bit hard when she is not together... thanks for sharing

I tell my best friend when she asks what size a certain doll wears, that it depends on if it’s new and unwashed, or thrifted and has been washed and dried. I generally size up if it is used. However, with Carters brand, the ones that come as a 3 piece set, the newborn pants and shirt are very small but the onesie/vest is soooooo much bigger. The onesie always gets washed and dried on high to try to shrink it. When I buy new, I don’t wash except for onesies. Quinlyns curled legs fir ok in Carters newborn but I also have Zara ( used ) pants in 1-3 that fir her perfectly in the length but are too big in the waist. She’s an odd sculpt to size in my opinion. Xo
She looks lovely in pink but that suit is definitely too big. My granddaughters gave birth to a little boy 17 days ago and the difference in the sizes different makes is amazing.
