Hooray! I am so pleased you have a floor loom - it will open up so many fun and useful possibilities. (And yes, I love your making videos, please do keep them coming.)

haha, love you right back, Marina! I am so enjoying my spinning learning curve on your Skua blend. I am training myself on the undyed so that when I spin the Starling dyed braid for OutOfTheDarkMAL I'll be more confident that I won't ruin it. :D It is lovely to see the progression of your Westcountry Collection and hear little snatches of your interactions with other fiber makers and artists in your area. Really excited for when it all comes together!

Always such a pleasure when you pop up on my feed. I'm now off to check out the making video, you're right it didn't come up at all. Happy creating 💚🧶💚

Thanks so much for the Fiber Shed idea. I'll be using it to find places when I travel, too. :)

What a lovely loom, and what a struggle to not immediately jump into a weaving project. I would be sooooo tempted :)

As always, a lovely episode, thank you Marina. I see you have nearly six and a half thousand subscribers ... well deserved! I'm tempted to use my Swamp DK for a Weod or similar jumper, with fluffy cream for the colourwork, and to do it in the depths of dark winter for the Out of the Dark MAL. Great idea, Annie, to queue up ideas now.

Love love the cardigan you’re knitting 🥰 I’m not one for cardigan knitting but this makes me want to make one ❤ That make along sounds lovely, I have fibre from you, 4 braids, I think I’ll save them for that, and practice my spinning until then! 😊

Totally agree about the spreading the Christmas woolly season. Thanks for going through your ‘vest’ patterns and the construction of the garments. Enjoyable and insightful. I love a cottagecore hobbit vibe waistcoat! 😊

I love your designs and their often scientific names. I guess we share a niche-y design aesthetic!

can I make for once a negative comment : I don't like the way you say that knitting stranded colourwork on a purlside is 'hororable'. you may not like it at all but it is not hororable, as is mosstitch is not hororable, as spinning on a spindle is not horarable. there are many aspects of knitting that some people adore and some people hate. knitting colourwork flat has the big advantage that you can rip it out, you have a better view of how the garment is going to look like. as a lot of things, there are pro and contra. I do believe that it is a skill you are sure able to learn, if you would want it. I am sure that if you put your mind to it, and you knit your deep field-vest flat, it would be a skill that you have under your belt, and you may even like it. I am of over 65 years and I have learned it recently and it went from causing me crambs to almost as easy as in knitting colourwork in the round. so, don't be so negative about it. and by the way, all the hundreds of things you talked about in your podcast, they make my heart sing, it was just this one sentence that upsetted me (maybe because I am so proud that I learned that skill just last winter) greetings from belgium

Good Lord, that is Marina’s opinion! I’m quite sure she’s aware that she’s speaking for herself. You can’t get so easily upset in life - grief, how do you get through a day?
