I love these little engines !! Right up my street ! And big enough for me to handle now ,if love to build one of these , I've already got the boiler material from black gates ,, I'm going to really enjoy the.rest of the videos !! Cheers Keith !! Regards. Steve
I use a blob of BluTac instead of that paper stuffing trick, and magnitise my small sockets too, okay with steel nuts 'n' bolts, the BluTac holds Brass or non magnetic like Stainless parts in..👍😎
I'm just waiting for some more flux to make a gas pipe for my Markie. Same basic model, but made as a road engine. When that's done and I'm ready to fire up the Markie, I'll put a TE1 and a roadster alongside it for _scale._ Note that they aren't to anything like the same scale! They'll be on my channel ... eventually.
I might not be very experienced with small steam tractors, but the color white on a tractor is a strange choice for me. It does look nice though. My great uncle had a steam tractor back in the 1930s in Pennsylvania, the only photo I have of it shows it to be a Case but I can't see what model. My dad helped his uncle several summers as they traveled from farm to farm threshing grain and what not. By the photo, the tractor was black and red, but dirty from use. I think a white and black tractor would have looked a lot worse after just one summer!
Just started watching the Iron Maiden on you tube. What more can you want 60s aircraft and a ton of traction engines not too sure about the huge dose of misogyny.
What a machine! It’s hard believe anything so beautiful as this once graced the roads! 😃
Going to enjoy these few episodes! Thanks Keith
Wait how is this video an hour old yet your comment is apparently 2 months old? TH-cam’s drunk again
beautiful machine

A thing of beauty, wish I could afford something like that but I will have to do with a dream :)
Cant wait to see how you solve the timing issue.
Hi Keith,

I really don't know Daniel, I am not a big fan of these Markie engines. Try contacting www.forest-classics.co.uk

I can't do that as I made this video almost 3 months ago and the customer took his repaired Markie away after I fixed it.
