      @E KL I agree. I will say, though, that whenever I've gotten a number, I have always waited at the least until the following night, or the following day. I've had a few women specifically say they were nervous after not immediately hearing from me...I prefer to keep the ball in my side of the court

      I 100% agree. Just accept the number she gave you. If it's a fake or random number just accept that she wasn't really that into you and move on.

      I mean it would make sense for you to get her number and give her a call at the same moment, so she could save ur number and name but saying "just wanted to see if the number is real or not" is definitely a disrespectful and awkward imo

    You really nailed it as 6:00. As a woman, its always confusing why men get annoyed about getting friendzoned, when the ONLY way they’ve ever interacted is being friendly. In the past, there have been a bunch of times where I figured out that a guy liked me and that’s the first time I considered an attraction to them. Dont go up to a girl and instantly use a pickup line and think that will work. Be conversational and friendly, but also its good to be flirty and funny, so the girl starts understanding you’re attracted to them and they consider that possibility.

    • @AnthonyRecenello
      @AnthonyRecenello  4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Thank you so much Sana. Your words are inspiring! See you soon.

    • @mikelitorous5570
      @mikelitorous5570 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think the problem for men is they don’t want to come across as creepy by being flirty. Say a girl has a bf and they don’t know and they’re trying to flirt some men will see that as being a bad person even if they didn’t know the girl had a bf. Also, you’re talking too a complete stranger it’s a bit weird to be trying to flirt when you have no idea who they are. So by being friendly to start with I think some men see it as, I’ll show how I’m a nice person and then that person will see that, then I’ll start to give them compliments later on etc. Usually the men who will be flirty straight away are a lot more confident tho and will probably come across better to women on a first interaction

    This is such a great show! And it feels very natural!
    As a girl (20yo) , some apperance tips I would have for Mark is to 1. stand up straight and confident, pull your shoulders back, hold your head high (that immediately appears more manly and attractive) 2. get better fitting glasses
    he's so nice and I love how smiley and engaged in a conversation he is, he carries a talk very well!

    Great, just great. I think that a lot of guys, myself included, struggle with the leading part, for various reasons. Even if I`m not being coached directly, I feel like I can relate a lot and learn a lot with this videos. If I didn`t know this channel, and this was the first video that I saw, I would be rushing to get that notification bell on :D
    There is only one problem: this series it`s not a two hours documentary on Netflix (yet).
    It could be really huge for us young people to learn, on a larger platform, to be ourselves more, without being douchey, and also to see that there is hope even if you are not the best looking dude.
    I`m really looking forward to the next episode.

    I've been through countless pick up artists for the last 2 years, which made me fall in a deep, ugly state of depression.
    Those 2 years, all I accomplished was develop a sense of insecurity and, honestly, a deep seeded hatred towards women, then I found your channel.
    I'm still growing and sheding all the negative things I got out of those 2 years, it's still hard, but now most of those insecurities and hatred are slowly going away, thank you man.

    I like your other videos (they've popped up on my feed here and there) but this is the first one that got me to sub to you. Understanding what makes celebrities attractive or charming only goes so far, it doesn't feel relatable or practical to do what celebrities do. Even if the advice is the same, seeing it applied to a regular person makes a huge difference. Thank you, please make more of these so I can be ready for the post-quarantine world!

    Can't wait to see more even though the secondhand discomfort is excruciating lol
    It's true that being still and attentive while someone is talking is respectful, but saying that someone should do it for that reason makes it sound obligatory. Being silent and focused should be a spontaneous outward manifestation of your sincere interest in what someone's saying. Submissive smiling and jittery interjections are an unintentional signal that someone's nervous and concerned about how they're appearing instead of fully attending to the person in front of them. A person feels seen when being quietly listened to, and if that's made the primary motivation in an interaction, people (women) notice the difference and react positively.

    • @AnthonyRecenello
      @AnthonyRecenello  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes 100%. This is everything I teach. I never want anyone to fake it. The reason for interactions should always be genuine.

    This was really wholesome. Love your positive/honest attitude and towards being real. pls more of this! I'm kind of a type like Mark myself. PS: Smashing Pumpkins Shirt... great! And it's true that anxiety goes away best way by repitition and our body language can change how we feel inside. A psycho Doc gave me the advice to smile at me (in an honest, not over the top, way) in the mirror a few a times a day. This was exactly his approach, and he (kind of a professor type) said there are numerous new studies from neurology that prove that. Inside and outside is connected and vice versa. If we feel bad inside we can use our body (language), like smiling, activating the face muscles for smiling, to change a little how we feel inside. But altogether in a natural way of a newly gained integrity. Not as an artificial performance.

    Hey Anthony, great video! Its reallt good advice to be yourself no matter what, and you do that in this video, the one thing I disagree its when you start to tell the guy what to do... Be more serious, let her talk more, etc... By doing that you are already teaching him some techniques although it doesnt sound like it he is "performing" and doing something he wouldnt normally do.
    Just by seeing the video I can tell he is not the guy to approach women randomly in the streets. He will find someone that connects on that level without any change or character

    • @AnthonyRecenello
      @AnthonyRecenello  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Rafael. Thanks for your point. I disagree with you. Men come to me to find out where they are being insecure and anxious, and to help them become less anxious.
      Good social skills is simply the result of a happy, comfortable person. Teaching social skills is simply teaching positivity and a relaxed headspace.
      For instance, telling him to shut up and allow her to talk is really telling him to quiet his mind and respect the person in front of him.
      I certainly hope his respect towards her was not a performance. It better not be or I’d not done my job right.
      You mention that he’ll find someone without changing his character. You’re right, eventually he will. It’s my belief that you are most fulfilled in a relationship when both parties are at peace from within. Otherwise, the relationship can be unstable. This is what we’ve seen from the boomer generation.
      If Mark continued to meet women with his anxiety, he will meet only anxious women. And that just doesn’t make for a healthy relationship. Mark doesn’t want that.
      It had been years since Mark had actually dated someone. And if he was happy with that situation, he wouldn’t be here.
      Again, social skills are just the result of a happy, relaxed, loving person. That is all I aim to teach. Anything further would be inauthentic.

    Honestly the best way to approach a woman is to just come over, chat, be friendly and not expect anything. Stop with the cheesy lines or with the weird "wanting to get a gf" sht.
    Once a guy approached me and commented on the coat I was wearing which he found rlly nice and then we just casually talked- it was short but I felt that he didn't have any other intentions because he didn't force anything and honestly I wished we could've talked more and the guy is still in my head, so if yall men want to make an impression try not to force anything and be nice

    I'm a bit confused Anthony. You said on another video that the best way to approach the opposite sex is to visit places and go to meetups of things you like, this way you can actually relate with the person without any sort of intentions, which I agree. This seems like regular pickup

    The main reason why he gets in the friend zoned so often, is because he doesn't have a very masculine appearance, and doesn't style that well either. If he lost the glasses, bulked up 20 pounds and had a well groomed beard, the reactions he get would be entirely different.
    Focusing on game and personality, especially for a guy who is already pretty well socially adjusted, isn't the best bang for his buck imo. Entertaining video and good dating mindset tips, however.

    Hi there, interesting vid! As a side not to something you said, I do appreciate a man to openly express their interest, but wouldn't subscribe to liking for them to 'lead', personally. I appreciate a balanced back and forth. :) Also, I'd be interested to hear more tips for people that are not straight men. Last but not least, it'd be cool to have a bit more diversity/awareness with lgbtq+, the way I've seen you divide the dating portion of humanity into 'men' and 'women' seems a bit too binary sometimes. Apart from that, I've heard and seen some good stuff in your vids and I appreciate the work you do and the way you try to Foster understanding instead a 'battle of the sexes', so thank you!

    i dunno, imagine if every dude was going up to these women in the park, they'd never get anything done of whatever they're trying to do. i feel like people don't go to a park looking for romantic partners, it's not like a bar or something... this feels weird to me, like infringing on someone's space
    also, to the "who is more of an asshole" q, i feel like the person being an asshole is the one who makes the woman more uncomfortable/fearful, and usually that's the guy telegraphing his sexual intentions more than the guy hiding them, even if the guy hiding them is lying. it's about the impact of behavior, not the intent of it
