- Here is a short video of an example of Encapsulation cleaning. It is also referred to as "Encap", "Bonnet" or VLM (Very Low Moisture) cleaning.

I use a Tennant E5 for cleaning like this. I find it very effective and u don't need to return to the job to vacuum.
Question. So let's say it dries in 2 hours. Right away do you vacuum the carpet with a traditional vacuum or after it dries in 2 hours?
Can you help me. Where can I find that chemical? And name exactly please
Hi, I actually use a better chem now form Excellent Supply out of Florida. It's called Releasit DS2. Look into getting a cast of that stuff. Low odor and won't make you cough. Works great. The stuff in the video I got from Walter E. Nelson Company, but like I said, I don't use it anymore.
Nice Video
Hi Damon, how long did it take to dry with the way you did it right from the tank? I thought I had to pre-spray carpet but the way you did it would be a lot faster!
It took about 45 minutes to an hour. Of course if I would have prayed it and then used a pad-cap it would have been even faster. My next purchase will be a Mytee OP or Orbot SprayBorg, but currently my 175 is doing the job just fine.
Yes...my next purchase will be a Windsor Taz made by HOS Orbot SprayBorg for Windsor. I wanted to buy one this year but the "real" boss, my wife, said we spent enough on equipment this year :) Thanks for posting and prompt response.
Do you think pre-spraying would be as effective at cleaning commercial grade as the way you did it?
+Ron Rivet with a good encap juice I believe it can be very effective. Encapsulation chems have come a long way. I still do about 95% hwe, but I'm not opposed to encap at all.
I did my first "official" encap today but I am definitely HWE and have been for almost 30 yrs but want to do more encap on my commercial jobs. I just need that assurance that it is as effective as HWE. for commercial ...not sure yet.....
What do you use as a floater?
