That is the same attitude I’d have. Some people’s glass is ALWAYS HALF EMPTY!!! And there’s nothing that’ll ever make their glass’s half full. Props to you buddy. I really enjoy your channel. If ya can’t add some humor to things and have fun then why do it. People that get so serious about everything all the time have shorter lives. If not I don’t know how. 👍

Thank you. I really enjoy my cars, even if it’s working on them. It amazes me that so many people like my channel, because I’m just a hillbilly welding stuff together in his garage.
My real goal is to inspire people to work on their projects. Sometimes it’s better to just make it run than it is to make it perfect.

@@bluecollarperformance1331 I think you inspire more folks than you may realize. I’m self taught at nearly everything I do. My hard ass dad is a superb welder/ pipe fitter by trade and gave me about 2 hours of his knowledge and after that I I’d turn on a welding machine wherever I found one and since my main career choice is commercial fisherman (shrimp boat captain) there is welding needed OFTEN. So practice time is never hard to come by. I’ve never taken any of my American/ USA 🇺🇸 vehicles to anyone for repairs. Engine broke learn to rebuild, tranny broke, get a Haynes manual and rebuild it because sir I’m just an ole hillbilly also from the SC low country, specifically hell hole swamp in the Francis Marion forest. Have a good day buddy

Nice race you got beat but look what you were up against. I watched all of your pinto build videos and loved them all. I built a similar pinto out of a runabout 41 years ago but was just carbureted. Did all the work myself, engine, body and paint custom diamond stitched black interior and fully gauged dash with blacked out windows. Headers with dual 2-1/2 turbo mufflers. Loved all the looks and comments it got. You’ve inspired me to want another one. Keep up the great work and videos.

Thank you very much. I sure wasn’t embarrassed by the gap at the end. I drive that car quite a bit, and I have less than $8k in the whole build.
It means a lot to me when people watch and enjoy my videos.

The Pinto did a good job for what it is. Enjoyed your video and keep plugging away.

I have a 90 gmc sienna 1500 black with fogs and I bet I’ve spent as much time under the hood as I’ve spent in the seat and love every minute of it. I’m self taught at nearly everything I do. My dad is a top notch welder that’s laid in torpedo shoots to building badass go carts for me and my brother and never taught me to as much as strike an arch. He said if he’d tried to teach me I wouldn’t have even liked it and he knew I enjoyed learning the hard way so he would just be there when I needed help and asked him for it. Kids these days need something along those lines. Never had anything handed to me. My dad did help me put a 302 in a 79 pinto back in the late 80’s. Boy that thing was scary fun

I’m the same way man, my dad bought a Lincoln tombstone welder when I was 13, and I experimented with it while he was at work. I’m self taught at most everything I do, I’ve found the ways that work for me, and some of them are pretty unconventional. I love figuring things out, and cars have been my source of income and entertainment for most of my life.

You are definitely an outstanding vehicle builder with the right view on these races. Win or lose you got to race with some cool people.

@@bluecollarperformance1331 lol I don't think I'll send my pinto into the burn out pit, I cringe every time I see tire belting destroy fenders.
