Just a little hint. The smaller pieces you cut, put those in your dehydrator, i dehydrate at about 95° and it took about 8 hrs. They will become light and fluffy crunchy little bits of goodness and fun to put on yogurt, portages or by themselves. Thank you for this video and you time.
Yes! It’s best to let them sit out on the counter for a day or two to dry and harden just a little before roasting. They’re a little more likely to fall off the stick, so be watchful/careful when roasting.
Didn't know you can make maple marshmallows. Fun! Made the recipe and it was pretty simple to follow and make, but question why you would add water to the maple syrup because you boil it to remove water.
@deborahsthisthat5034 I'm so sorry, i see it now. I don't know where my head is at. I think my eyes are painting on today 🙈🙈 thank you for your kind reply x
Love this video and the ingredients. No cornstarch, corn syrup, agar sgar.
It's so refreshing, and I'm happy to make these for my family!
Thank you!
I've been making gummies the last couple of days and my grandkids love them, I'll definitely be trying the lemon juice ones, Thank you.

Can you roast them like the store bought kind?

Have you tried making rice krispy bars with these?
I butter a glass pan. Works great for me. Doesn't need arrowroot powder either. They don't stick. Use a pizza cutter and its perfectly cut.

You need it to hydrate the gelatin and need it to get to the right temp and still have enough moisture to make marshmallows.
Can collagen be added to the gelatin? If so, do you know how much and how that would work?
I wouldn’t do that, no
I'm going to try it
Can you make rice crispie treats with these?
I haven’t, but I’m sure you can and they’re probably amazing!
Can you tell what kind of pans you’re using? 🙏🏽
Can you use agar agar powder in place of the gelatin?
I haven’t tried that… and I wouldn’t. I’d look up a recipe specifically for that if you don’t want to use gelatin.
Have you ever made it with marshmallow root?
I haven’t but would love to try that sometime!
Have you ever made your own vanilla bean paste?
Kinda… I’ve mixed vanilla bean seeds and honey together for a sort of paste.
What if I added the vanilla into the maple syrup before heating by accident?
That's fine... you'll lose some of the vanilla flavor but it won't affect how they set up, etc.
I can't find the written recipe 🙈 my kids would LOVE this. They're mad on marshmallow but i hate to buy them shop bought ❤
Look in the description box under video. Click where it says "more or see more" there is a link 😊

How could I make just vanilla flavored? Does the syrup serve a purpose other than flavor? Can I omit and just use vanilla?
You absolutely need the maple syrup
Mine are definitely darker than this....I used a standard WI maple syrup 😢
That’s totally fine! I used a light colored syrup. I think they are pretty when darker beige.
My syrup smells and looks burnt before reaching 242°. Did I do something wrong?
Is your thermometer accurate?
🎉
❤❤❤❤
Where are any of the ingredient measurements? How much gelatin?
The recipe is linked in the video description
Get your fingers wet and you can smooth it out 😊😉
