Planting Grapes | A simple start to our homestead vineyard

We are getting dedicating two of our new garden beds to grape vines. We are planting 4 dormant plants, two of them have already sent out green vines, the other two look a lot like sticks, but I think they're still alive in there somewhere.

I grow my grape vine up a wire to about 6 or 7 feet and then on a pipe or cable anywhere I want it. I had one plant that ran the full length of the house, I made 84 quarts of juice from it. It makes nice shade over a patio and easier to prune and pick that high in the air. I have watched regenerative farms raising their commercial vines up high for ease of picking and it allows running sheep or geese underneath the vines. Good luck.

Oh wow! I love the idea of growing them taller and 84 quarts of juice is awesome!
