- SI Fan Nation Dolphins Publisher Alain Poupart is joined by South Florida sportscaster Josh Moser of WSVN-7 to discuss the start of the OTAs, the latest developments involving QB Tua Tagovailoa and his contract, the team's most underappreciated player, and more. You can follow Poupart at @PoupartNFL or check out Dolphins coverage at si.com/nfl/dolphins.
Josh is honest that's why I like him but we also know him and Tua's agent are buddies as well. Great stuff guys🤙❤️🐬🫡
Poupart i like all the different guests!!!
Great guests
Hey Pup. I know I disagree with you about Tua, but I want you to know I appreciate your work and hope you continue to grow this channel and all of your other endeavors. I pray you have continued success always‼️🙏
Thanks for keeping me company
Skylar Thompson will save the rebuild and Tua is cooked spam in a can.
He can gain more leverage by playing on the 5th yr w more weapons and leading the team to a better offense.
We got a guy on here who doesn’t know what years Marino played? Doesn’t know the timeline of the best player in the history of our franchise? Then the rest of his opinions shall be considered casual and taken with a grain of salt 😂
Lol ....I definitely get it
He's a kid
Dude is barely out of school. Give him a break. 😆
We still here!! ❤❤❤
Podcast is doing great! Please keep it up! We all appreciate your inside knowledge and perspective. Pay Tua. You Tua haters can jump on the bears bandwagon and watch them get the first pick this year with their “new qb” . The stats DO NOT favor the dolphins if we switch again for a younger qb or a vet. Jets tried both ways… ask how that has worked for them. Let’s build a TEAM, and see if we can crack through the AFC.
Phins Upp
Agreed !!
I realize it's a Dolphins podcast but I enjoyed the Florida Panthers banter.
Did he just ask who the starting QB was back in 1992?
ok then
Learn your dolphin 🐬 history
Credibility lost. SMH
Vamos Gatos
I'd like how Allen didn't feed into the baby talk about Tyreke this is Sports Talk not gossip
Great stuff Alain. Love the multiple guest format but for crying out loud tell Josh to get a real mic.
Is Steven Ross ready to hand out 400+ million in new contracts (Tua, Waddle, Holland, Philips) before he gets a playoff win or at minimum, a home playoff game? I'd love to hear from him. He's been quiet this off-season. Let's go, Panthers!!
He busy making money off F1
The real problem with that championship game in 1992 John Offerdahl was out, our pro bowl middle LB`er, he was never right after that Core injury. The Bills destroyed us with Thurman Thomas, who Offerdahl did well against.
Let’s all chip in and get Josh a better Internet plan.
1992 was year I got my drivers license lol 🐬🏈
Panthers in 6 !!
Imagine paying $50M to a guy who you lost a 1st and 3rd round pick trying to get rid of 🙈
poupon like the way people hide themself behine a rock by saying I love tua hes the man then stap him with one eye open😂😂😂🎉.
Give Tua the 5th year option. Tua has to stay healthy and have a playoff run.
He's already signed this year on the 5th year option.
Big O says that this is TH last season in Miami....
Well, I guess that makes it official then. ... Not like I haven't pointed out 83 times he's got no guaranteed money after this season and the Dolphins didn't extend his contract this offseason when they clearly could have used the cap savings it would have created. Only difference, is guess, is I won't make that kind of declaration because things change but, yes, it absolutely could be TH's last season in Miami.
@@alldolphinspodcast I hate to say it but he's called this on a few players and he was right
Very curious as to which players’ departure he called …
@@alldolphinspodcast last year he said Wilkins and Hunt were gone during the season I'm having a Joe Biden moment with the previous years right now. But he reminds everyone that, the next time he goes off on one of his self promoting tirades I'll write them down 😂 and send them to you ✌️
📰🐬🏈😐✊🏾
Poop, is in the middle but he is unfair sometimes to combat the overly high praise.
93 was Marino's Achilles year. Made millions and millions for Scott Mitchell with Doug Petersen (Jags HC) backing him up.
I was 33. So was Marino.
🐬🆙🫡
This "expert" didn't know when Marino retired. What a joke. we out
This "expert" is in his early 30s and didn't grow up in South Florida. You don't have to know 1980-90s Dolphins to talk about the 2024 Dolphins.
9-8 and 200 million in the same sentence will get chris Grier and Mike McDaniel #fired. 😐🏈🐬📰
Who would take the job if that happened? Not a good idea to give out a mega deal if McDaniel and Grier aren't safe themselves.
@@Ballaholic17 if they don't sign tua and miami goes 9-8 tua is gone , if they do sign tua and Miami goes 9-8 chris Grier and Mike McDaniel are gone. That's the options. Grier vs tua 📰🏈😐🐬
Tua adding to his legacy of the worst dolphins draft choice in history all things factored in it’s a domino effect, but it all comes to an end with an 18 months!
This guy has been on a bunch of podcast and says things. Nice guy, but broad strokes opinions all the time. I can’t believe he didn’t know about Marino in 1992.
Josh is in his early 30s and he didn't grow up in South Florida ... he shouldn't be expected to be a Dolphins historian. That's my role as the old dude who's been around for 40 years.
I can't afford to buy a house in the New Jersey and this guy is turning down $50 million a year contracts
Gotta move out, I did and I’m so much better for it. Miss the family and friends when I don’t see them (and the pizza…). But appreciate making the same money and things being cheaper.
Just because Detroit made a mistake with Goff doesn't mean the Dolphins have to, does it?....
Ugh 1992. Fins FINALLY get the Bills in Miami in the playoffs. AFC title game.. and get spanked. I was a Jr in high school. That one stung
Thanks Alain great show c u next time ❤
1992 the year before i was born....yikes.....i hate it here...not here here just being a fins fan...thanks ricky willaims....
Another great show. I currently live in Texas, however I was born and raised in W.P.B. I grew up going to the Expos Spring training games. Love the hat!! Do the Expos and the Braves still share a stadium in West Palm? Anyway, love the show!!! Keep up the hard work!! We appreciate it!!
Mcd has to help Tua and his offense in cold weather games. Play big boy ball… game plan better, run the ball, be more opportunistic on defense.. and for heavens sake Tyreek, hold on to the ball.
Thanks Pou, enjoying the interviews/guests. O.... Who? Keep it up!
First
❤❤🐬🆙🐬🆙👍👍
Go Panthers!!!
AP, the Russian Rocket🤯
Pavel Bure was sick❕❕
You could say his best years were in Vancouver but...
58 goals in 99-2000 and 59 goals 2000-2001 in back to back seasons
What more could you ask for🤷♂
An all-around game! Barkov >>>> Bure
@@alldolphinspodcast 🤔
Dolphin should not make a new compatible deal like Detroit's Jared Goff. Jared played well at times in play-off games and a Super Bowl. Goff can throw the ball harder and farther. Rather, the Dolphins should bump up Tua's current deal from $23 million to $35 million for this year. Add a second year with guaranteed money acceptable to both sides slightly above franchise tag. A temporary compromise. Why? Questions remain from Tua's games at Baltimore, Buffalo and Kansas City? Think this fair. One the other hand, every year delayed will cost the club more as the salary cap rises.
I honestly don't see a scenario where Tua and his representation would go for that.
@@alldolphinspodcast Fair
At any point when Miami’s offense is on the field, is Tua ever the best player on the field?
At what point is Goff the best player on the field?
@@spiderman2786ify
Never said he is. But will say he’s overpaid. Too much money. He does however have some playoff wins and a Super Bowl appearance. Tua has neither of those. I hope like hell Tua continues to improve. We need him to be better.
Good Evening Phinz Up
Thanks Poop.
