- Tua Tagovailoa isn't the only member of the Miami Dolphins in line for a new, big contract. A year after watching Christian Wilkins & Robert Hunt walk out the door, can the Dolphins realistically expect to retain all of Jaelan Phillips, Jaylen Waddle, Tua Tagovailoa and Jevon Holland long-term?

Tua's contract is what it is, Waddle's contract replaces Tyreek's.
Phillips replaces Chubb's. Holland contract top10, that's it,no more then that or ✌🏻out
Exactly- Trade Tyreek while u still can something for him. Get rid of his Contract. Keep/Pay Waddle. Trade Tua to Tennessee fir W. Levi's, and picks. FIRE ,Grier and McIDOIT, and WE'RE GOOD.
Phillips is OVERRATED, Big Time.
I think you're right, there is a path to keep all 4, but like you said, we have to be proactive. I think the main question is how much are we willing to pay those players and how much are they looking to get. Hunt as a Wilkins chose not to take the deals offered. Wilkins and his agent even admitted the deal was fair, so it's a 2 way street. I also wonder what Ross is thinking, is he looking at this with a long term vision or is he looking to shake things up. How much more is he's willing to commit financially, especially since we haven't quite gotten over the hump, and he's already invested alot of up front money on some big contracts that are on this roster. I do know we need to get younger and cheaper across the board so we're not always looking at free agency for rentals. I know you'll always need 1 year rentals to fill some depth, but most of our interior dline, oline and half our secondary are on short, gap filler contracts. Having that pipeline is important especially when it comes time to pay our core players and transitioning off of more expensive contracts with young guys who are familiar with the system and ready to contribute. Thanks Kyle.
10 picks in 2025 draft will help get younger and cheaper contracts
Whats up Kyle always watching listening and learning from u😊❤
Shout out K Crabbs the 🐐
Yes sir
I'm still big on Tyreek Hill, I have not forgotten what he's brought to this team.
I think Holland is the man out when it's all said and done. The issue is, if they pay Tua upwards of 170 mil guaranteed and they don't won the division or a playoff game wit this offense, which needs to carry them this year more than last year, than what's the next shoe to drop?
How? When Phillips have a history of injury. Phillips almost quit football once already so I see him as the odd man out.
@@colmodriscoll33 you don't pay a safety 20 mil per year. You can find a safety in the draft or FA. There are 4 safeties still available as FA's this year. Justin Simmons for one. An edge rusher is a lot more valuable. Phillips hasn't had concussion issues in 6 years
Is the franchise tag an option for Waddle or Holland if Grier ends up waiting out the season?
Good job, Fine up
Appreciate all you do, Kyle. You say they "can" keep them all. I would like to hear your opinion on if they "should" at current market costs.
Did the dolphins replace Wilkins and Hunt? Not Hunt but I Am not sure if they adequately replaced Wilkins so without these two I am expecting a drop in our defense Plus our offense too unless they figure out a way to adequately replace those two.
Chop is a pretty good try to replace Wilkins.
Actually it's the opposite... definitely did not replace Wilkins, but could replace Hunt with Robert Jones, based on how he played last year. Hunt was VERY over-rated. Wilkins was not! Hopefully we are still planning to sign someone after June 1st, when the X money clears up.
@@frankchi5479 Chop is not a defensive tackle... not close!
@@cnelsonlv99 Yes that is correct but Chop can be such a disruptive talent blowing up both pass & run plays he doesn’t have to be a tackle. Playing in the middle and being so fast he could demand a double team just like a tackle. Of course that has yet to be seen but he did it in college.
@@frankchi5479 Been a diehard Dolphins fan for 45 years. There's not a chance in hell Chop is filling their hole at DT! That kind of stupidity has to be an attempt at trolling!
Hill will be gone next season there are to many players that need to be paid
If they sign tua, wete done
THE EAGLES HAVE THE GREATEST GM IN NFL HISTORY..HOW DOES HE CONTINUE TO SIGN HIS PLAYERS AND EVERYONE ELSE IS SECND GUESSING SHOWS NFL HAS A BUNCH OF GUYS IN GM ROLES WHO DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING
Bc he’s willing to give out signing bonuses most GMs are not
Trade Tua and waddle will be good to go !
