When I was in my 20s my friend had a Z650 with a Kerker 4-1 exhaust. It had a beautiful sound, much like the Z1R in your video, only with a higher pitch. It had a lovely rasping sound when he backed off the throttle and an angry howl when he got higher up in the revs. Those were the days…
I could hear a lovely rasping sound ,too when he backed off the throttle. The Kerker 4-1 exhaust was very popular in 1980's of Japan. and I want to listen to the Kerker exhaust sound of Z650!

First thing I noticed is the K81 tyre pattern. Never let me down. K81 was called the TT100 because it was fitted to the Triumph 500 twin that did the first 100mph production lap of the IOM.
KERKERのマフラーって結構昔からあって、中学生だった50年近く前にオートバイ誌やモーターサイクリスト誌を買ってた頃からありましたね、日本だとヨシムラばかりでしたが、まれにKERKER付けてるカワサキ750RSいました。名前が物凄く印象的
KERKERってそんな昔からあるんですね!
自分は80年代に入ってローレプに純正採用されたのをみて
なにこのマフラー?と思った次第です
その750RSオーナーは相当のマニアですね

やっぱか…化ですなろ…村レプリカもḠPも、金属音がたまらない。
当時のカワサキとしては、珍しいソリッドカラーの車体。とっても都会的な車体設計でカウルからタンク、サイドカバーまでの直線美に惹かれた想いが有ります。私は、火の玉タンクよりこのKZ1000-D1のタンクが好きですね❗️👍😃 p.s. バイク、ninja1000に乗り換えました。近々にアイコンとチャンネル名変更します。動画アップ出来るよう頑張りますっ👍出来れば、登録していただくと嬉しいですっ😃
