We were just out looking at the lineup of hillclimb cars and Cole came up and started talking to us. We talked for probably a solid hour. Great to see him getting some more notoriety.

going over bumps in the road at high speed... if you limp arm the wheel and the bump makes your arm pull on the steering wheel the car will spin out, bump steer can also do that... proper wheel grip feels like stiff arming two 35-45lb weights one in each hand, have to anticipate the dips in the road and adjust grip to accommodate for bump steer and slack in the steering rack.

Yo, y’all need to find the supermiata or hypermiata time attack car.... the supermiata car won global time attack 2017 at Buttonwillow and it was pieces together last min for that event. It’s underbuilt for unlimited class and is crazy fast.
What is Nads talking about? The AMB Infinity Wing is a FRONT end wing. This rear wing is the AMB TripleDecker, and the downforce is crazy. Look around and you'll see quite a few of the leading Time Attack vehicles running his wing.
No problem man, if you like aerodynamics and downforce and suspension setups and such I might recommend Carroll Smith's books to you (engineer to win and tune to win are a couple of them) they go into that sort of stuff, but aren't super math heavy. They're really cool if you find that sort of thing interesting.
