I always love it when you use different parts of the canyon.
much better than it was at the unboxing 🎉
Very cool to see you do a winch recovery! (Sorry it nearly knocked you out!)
That generation of Ford truck, '67-'72, is commonly refered to as "Bumpside". So my name submission is something to do with that, either "Bumpy"...or maybe...cause of the grey -> Grey Goose -> "Goosebump"
Im running Chapms on my class 2 rig, which I finally drove yestarday after the pinion arrived. The dig was working really nice, even on wet rock. Im looking forward to a deeper test on dig, and which tires are best with it (I hope you can do your magic with that 😉)
Guys! New basecamp vid just dropped!
Missing the cog breakdown. The need stuff was cool. But great video!
I saw a square grey truck and "base" and thought this was a baseline tuning series. I felt so ashamed for missing the first 3 episodes, lol.
Seems like all net positives so far. The body & paintjob are killer!
Old Blue the F-100 is great looking
Howdy👊
Wagwan Canyoneros 👊
Hot dang it looks good
Mr crawler Mr crawler! What is your top pick for a TRUE 4.75 (or less) tire after the boss man video? I crawl a lot of limestone and sandstone, lots of loose dirt and roots. Rocks are also often dirty af
Nothing has succeeded in unseating the Tusk. It still reigns supreme.
I'm running a fever and watching the vid, a name keeps popping in my head and it's Shark Boi, clearly I am not well 😢
Old yeller cause of the old truck body style or Jason cause of the camp thing if you get it
Oof.....just gonna head inside. Whatever it was, I was gonna do next can wait. Please UNBOX sumthin, Mr.C 😮
So you usually have a heavier spring to the front of ur rigs, lighter rate to rear? Enlighten me Mr C, please. Maybe I’m thinking all wrong! Cause I assumed the exact opposite hence when ur climbing all your weights on rears…. No?!?
I don't have a "rule of thumb" for setup, other than getting links level at rest. I find that it's easier to overspring the rear to negative effect than it is to underspring it. Too much rate in the rear does help prevent the rear from collapsing under transfer, but it's worse at pretty much everything else. This setup only needs a 1.4lb up front, and I tried running the same rate all around, but it just lifts the rear end too much, and makes it unpredictable when descending. This thing descends amazingly, and will only get that dreaded collapse in the rear if I drive into it. Also worth mentioning that I'm often running a stiffer insert in the rear tire than the front, so in the end I'm probably accidentally running the same "effective rate" all the way around.
Yo
My hooks were based on a 4/0 size
So I definitely went too big. I should have measured. Now I have a whole box of damn frog hooks, and refuse to buy another. So it's giant winch hooks all around!
“El Jefe” needs some Bossman tires.
Because nearly every boss S.U.C.S.
