We too have brought 2 MiRiders. We have manage to get down to the coast this weekend, having great fun on the bikes but got a puncture and the other half had to push his bike a couple of miles back, I cycled ahead and got the kettle on

@@johnmandy Thankfully we were the least hit (living on a hill helped) and the river levels are mainly back to normal. Many people have the terrible job of cleaning up and many still homeless, businesses devasted etc... 💔 Enjoy your week xxx
John would say it’s the best part of the van but in reality it’s the bit that’s made us enjoy our time away more as we can fit all the things in - including 3 irons, 1 driver, a bag of tees and a box of golf balls.. 😁🙌🏻

That’s looking great 👍🏻 I’m really luck with the oven in my van, it’s Italian but a 2003. It’s almost like an oven in a house, 4 gas rings, separate grill and oven. The only thing is it only goes to gas mark 6, so I occasionally have to increase cooking time. I haven’t done it for a long times, but I have made so great muffins in it as well.

Hi John, don’t tell Mandy but you could’ve saved weight cheaper than that, Chuck out all the coffee pods, then you wouldn’t need the coffee maker, extra batteries, solar panels. I ordered a couple of Ancheers the same as yours last year, they cancelled the order after a couple of weeks saying they were out of stock all of a sudden, but we’re back on sale the next week at an inflated price. We ended up with Fiido M1 fat tyre bikes, really comfortable but a bit on the heavy side at 25kg each. We carry them in the back of our tribute 669. Keep up the good work.

Those new bikes look good. That oven looks like a great improvement. As soon as you said the vans nearly finished I thought no never. Every time I thought that there is something else I want to change. I did mean to ask how did you attach the pockets to the doors ? As the door is a bit too thin for screws (or at least mine is).

The Ancheer bikes are amazing too aren’t they? We’ve done so much riding about on them and hardly ever need to charge them 😁 We’re keeping them for now as they are a great mountain bike - totally different to the commuter bikes. We’ll see if we use them much now we have these new ones 😁👍🏻

May I ask you a question please, I'd appreciate your expertise as I have had varying answers to this. Have you ever considered getting air conditioning fitted for the habitation area, and is nit feasible/possible to run air con from the van's 12v system, and if so, what combination of solar panels and lithium batteries would you need. (Presumably it helps that air con would be used most when it's sunny and the solar panels are generating!) Many thanks, and happy travelling.
You’d need around 1200w of solar to run the aircon, but it’s probably never going to produce that much power in British weather. So you’d always be eating into your battery power, even if you had 500ah of battery bank you’d struggle to run aircon for a full day. They’re just too power hungry to be an offgrid option.
Be good if they did an Orange Camo version :) Also, Its a great set up we have, I'm carrying our spare wheel and your carrying our Kayak and bikes 😂😂😂😂 And, and, and, PIZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Sooooo, how do you charge your ebikes when not connected to 240v? It’s a problem we’ve had since we first got ebikes 2 years ago. Any advice or links to charging products would be seriously appreciated!
We charge from the inverter in the van or the poweroak AC50s if we charge them outside.. they hardly take anything from the poweroak, it’s a cracking bit of kit and we recharge that while we’re driving via 12v socket 😁👍🏻 links on the website if you want to take a look..
We’re keeping them for now as they are a great mountain bike - totally different to the commuter bikes. We’ll see if we use them much now we have these new ones 😁👍🏻

How much do the bikes weigh and what is the range on the battery?

As there are a few things that would change which sikaflex to use we’d recommend watching the video where we fit it as all the bits are covered 😁👍🏻

Sooooo, how do you charge your ebikes when not connected to 240v? It’s a problem we’ve had since we first got ebikes 2 years ago. Any advice or links to charging products would be seriously appreciated!
We charge from the inverter in the van or the poweroak AC50s if we charge them outside.. they hardly take anything from the poweroak, it’s a cracking bit of kit and we recharge that while we’re driving via 12v socket 😁👍🏻 links on the website if you want to take a look..
John/Mandy, Are your Ancheer bikes for sale?........if so, what sort of price would you want for one of them?
We’re keeping them for now as they are a great mountain bike - totally different to the commuter bikes. We’ll see if we use them much now we have these new ones 😁👍🏻

Definitely not an Ad ☺️ we bought the bikes direct from MiRider as they are awesome and we’ve been looking at them for ages.
