@@joelc9439 I see far more cops not giving a fuck or actually being rude to the catchers instead of the predators telling them theres nothing they can do and that they shouldnt be doing what theyre doing or do it another way when theyve tried. Ill never understand how some laws arent supported in other counties and some dont treat it like others. It should be very cut and dry when dealing with this issue, I just dont understand how THE LAW is upheld in some places and dealt with completely different in other places just doesn't make sense.

Ie: posting fake profiles of ppl who look like kids, talking to adults, getting them to meet for sexual reasons and Chris Hansen talks to them and they IMMEDITAELY get arrested. Sure the people whom are decoys and the people working on the profiles possibly have consulted with law enforcement but they are NOT sworn officers. They're civilians. Not to mention all the catching channels that have done this and cops take them and book them into jail the same day, then they post follow ups of the preds charges after they go to court. No entrapment. Entrapment is for police officers NOT civilians. You're just wrong period. Look up if entrapment can be used as a defense by a private everyday citizen ill give you a hint there is no defense for entrapment if a private person got someone to commit a crime, only if a police officer got someone to commit a crime without letting them know they were LEO.

At least it's on record, and a police report was filed. The police generally won't make an arrest unless they're involved in the actual sting or the predator is pursuing an actual minor and not a decoy.

@Cinnamon Girl you never know the cops just might show up with a warrant 6 months later. However seeing as this video is almost a year old, the cops nor the DA will probably won't do anything. I also don't remember this video so I don't remember how sexually charged the conversation was.

Wait, are those cops just standing there watching you interview a suspect? How did you reach such a level of cooperation and mutual respect? I've never seen such a thing. The procedure in any kind of dispute is always question them separately. The only reason I can think they would have you do the interview is if they know 100% you're legit. But, still, even with catchers they know very well and who have gotten convictions, they separate them so they can take control of the situation as is their habit.
This was a great catch. Go check out Minor Defense Force for a catching team that often teams up with police for catches.
Some departments will allow this to happen. At this point he is a suspect of a crime. Meaning he needs to have his Miranda rights read to him for LEO’s to question him. PTI is doing the subject interview at this point, meaning he has no rights the press can ask you anything at any time in the presence of anyone and if you answer. It’s admissible as evidence. They have body cams rolling to capture the confrontation. It’s actually ingenious. They let someone talk themselves into a conviction. More departments need to do this in my opinion
