THIS MAN WAS MY 9TH GRADE BIO/HEALTH TEACHER. He always had weird vibes and would be really touchy with the male students. It was brought up to administrators but nothing was done. Thank you from the kids that went to North Branch! You caught someone for us when no one was listening.

As a parent in the district he taught at, I will say that in this school it seems like the teachers that are pervs mainly stay hands off til the kids graduate. They fine tune their grooming . As soon as they graduate they start taking a more aggressive approach. Yes the school has been aware of it. This is a small town, word gets around fast. It's disgusting. My kids are grown now. My class had him as a teacher for 4 years in a row.. he kept getting transferred up a grade the same time my class went threw. The class of 2011 had him as a teacher for 4 (some 5) years in a row! I've NEVER heard anything about him being "creepy"! If he was, the class of 2011 would be the best people to go to and ask. no ones ever said anything to me, the school, or anyone about him... I wanna say thank you so much for what you are doing. Rick Stevens was my 9th grade teacher. I was expelled from school after he grabbed my dick. I beat him up for it. I explained what happened, but they didn't believe me. Nor did my mom. I ended up getting my GED, got my AAS degree in Network Engineering, moved to Jacksonville after getting into the Financial Services Business. I can't believe I'm seeing this monster all over again. Although I'm a grown man now and can defend myself, I want to thank you for doing something I felt I couldn't do back then.
I'm truly sorry for what you went through. You didn't deserve to be expelled and I'm sorry you weren't believed, especially by your mom. What he/they did to you could have seriously affected your future but you overcame. I can only hope you've found peace after what transpired and that you're doing okay, all things considered. The school needs to be investigated. I'm pretty sure the only reason he left north branch is because myself and a few others started bringing it to light on Facebook a few years back. My little brothers friends were some of the victims. He was my counselor and his wife my teacher. I graduated with his son. Who knows how many are left at the school, as alot of the staff just turned a blind eye

@@sydneybean713 this isn’t a differing opinion, If it weren’t for Facebook, people in North Branch wouldn’t know that the creep ass teacher who sent them shirtless pictures and asked them to come to his house was getting caught. He brought this down upon himself and frankly I wouldn’t want to find that out through social media either. However, I would like to remind you that I am not his family, nor are you. We do not know what happened behind closed doors and if you took the time to look through the Google Drive like my partner and I did you would have seen that he got in trouble for “things on his phone” multiple times.
This is isn’t a differing opinion, this is the modern world and as much as you don’t like it, social media is the main area of traffic for news like this because he’s not on any sexual predator list yet, you have to be convicted for that happen.
I searched the databases and he’s not there so this video and social media is all we have. Frankly, I don’t see harm in him having to see these posts and read these comments that people thought he was creep. I hope he’s uncomfortable. I hope he reads all my comments damning him after I thought he was a mentor and someone I could trust. People shaming him are in general the ones that are hurting. He was one of, if not, the only teacher who took time to message both my partner and I after a huge illness took everything away from us.
Videos and sources like this validate many victims across the board and give them the sense of justice the judicial system refuses to give them. Another person from NB is on here talking about the abuse she suffered from her father and how she now wonders if Rick had anything to do with that. It allows for validation of feelings and knowing that they are not alone. With all trauma people need something to come together and if it’s talking about how creepy he was as a teacher then so be it.

Many of these poaching groups use fake profiles THAT SHOW LEGAL AGES OF 18,19,20,21,22. The poachers will initiate first contact and won't reveal that the decoy is underage until hours later. This is why so many judges will toss these cases, many of the viewers have no idea that this is what's happening. You'll always hear poachers claim the system is soft on predators, no it's because their methods are shady. Most Law enforcement agencies won't do these stings through legal dating sites because it's clearly entrapment.

The fact that I had him as a teacher in the 7th grade when I was attending north branch schools sickens me. I noticed some things but never thought about it that way. I’m in shock.

He was one of my teachers in 7th & 8th grade, everyone knew he was a perv and there something off by the way he treated students. But we’d be shut out, things have been said about several other teachers at the school and they just refuse to listen. I hope this is an opportunity for North Branch high school staff to listen to the students..
