Reactors exposed me to Bloodywood, now Bloodywood is exposing me to reactors. The TH-cam circle is complete. Really enjoyed your analysis of this outstanding band. Their whole new album is what happens when a band decides to put 10 bangers together, one after the other. Looking forward to diving into your past videos, guys.

I was going to leave a comment as a first time watcher (and new sub), but you literally hit everything I feel on this, lol. Came for the Dana Dan reaction. I will watch just about any reactor do this one because I think it's so amazing and I like to see others light up to it. And not to mention, they gotta do more Bloodywood now, haha. So it just gets better.

Just saw them last night, been waiting 5 years for the US tour, they were so genuine and are doing the world a service by bridging any gaps they can to unite the world through music.. they came into the crowd and jammed out literally right in front of me. They stayed after to meet people, I said my respects and got two autographs. This was one of the most epic shows of my life and I’ve been to alottttt. LOVE YOU BLOODYWOOD YOU POETS OF WAR!!!

Such a fantastic breakdown of this song/band. I love that you mentioned POD, and called them an Indian Slipknot. Very cool! I typically describe them as a combination of Linkin Park and Rage Against the Machine, but with added curry. 🤘😁
PS - thank you so much for talking about bridges across genres. That aspect of music is so overlooked, in my opinion.
You guys definitely earned a new sub here!

Someone made a comment elsewhere about how cool it is that the chorus echos the rhythm and feel OF beating someone down. Which I hadn’t thought about before, but is pretty accurate. Def check out their other stuff, and if you want live, there is footage of their pre-pandemonium tour of European feats. They even have a mini documentary on their TH-cam about the tour and the bands background/how they got there. And the tour name was possibly the greatest name ever - the “Raj Against the Machine” tour

The Blue Goddess Kali is aptly represented here, here is a brief description: " Kali (/ˈkɑːliː/; Sanskrit: काली, IAST: Kālī), also referred to as Mahakali, Bhadrakali and Kalika (Sanskrit: कालिका), is a Hindu goddess who is considered to be the goddess of ultimate power, time and change. She is considered as a ferocious form of goddess Mahadevi, the supreme of all powers, or the ultimate reality. Kali's earliest appearance is when she emerged from Shiva. She is the ultimate manifestation of Shakti and the mother of all living beings. The goddess destroys evil in order to protect the innocent. Over time, Kali has been worshipped by devotional movements and Tantric sects variously as the Divine Mother, Mother of the Universe, Principal energy Adi Shakti.[1][2][3] Shakta Hindu and Tantric sects additionally worship her as the ultimate reality or Brahman.[3] She is also seen as the divine protector and the one who bestows moksha or liberation.[1]"

What a phenomenally edited, flowy-yet-doesn't-substitute-listening-to-the-song-directly, thoughtful, value-adding reaction. I've watched a TON of reactions to this song/band, and yours is one of the few that inspires me to check out the rest of your channel. I'm especially grateful that you guys unawkwardly and sensitively addressed the lyrical themes instead of just playing it (too) safe and sticking to solely the musical discussion. You guys really did this justice and handled it super professionally. I really dig it. Thanks for being a rare reaction channel that doesn't just play a song, gape at it, call it awesome a few times, and then ask for subscriptions. This band deserves the sincere appreciation you gave it. (Jayant's long screams in that dramatic ending especially get me, goosebumps every time ... feels like he's ritualistically cathartically voicing all the aggregated rage and fury and frustration and tragedy of all victims everywhere. So. Fking. Powerful.)
Edit: I'm not usually one to make requests, especially of a channel I just discovered, but I think if you guys haven't heard of the band Transgressive yet, you might really enjoy the originality, riffs, wordplay, lyrical themes (trans rights and women's rights), et cetera. The bandleader Alicia Cordisco was one of the founders of powerprog band Judicator, and she's a prolific genius. She also just released a thrashyproggyeclectic album with one of her other bands, Project: Roenwolfe. I hope you look into Transgressive if you've got room in your queue!

I would recommend Aaj, Gaddaar and Jee Veerey. I honestly don't have a least favourite from these guys and have been listening to Rakshak on loop since the release.

@@forgemastermetal while it's tempting to get straight into the album you'll do wonders for the channel I'm sure by checking out the big music videos (Aaj, Gaddaar, Machi Bhasad, Yaad, Jee Veerey, Ari Ari + their metal covers of pop songs and the Raj Against the Machine documentary). Pre album-listen I'd suggest (for traffic to the channel) reactions to Aaj + Gaddaar as a minimum, with Yaad if either of you have a dog! Otherwise listen to the rest at your own pace / discretion.

I'm not a metal listener or even a rock listener, but I respect anyone creating new sounds, whether those sounds are to my taste or not. Most of their songs focus too much on the bangy-screamy sound than I like, but it's still fascinating to watch because they're fusing sounds that others haven't attempted to fuse. They're also doing a good job of creating a signature sound while adding enough variation to it that it doesn't get samey. And the message is perfect.
But their song "Yaad" is absolutely beautiful. They have skill for melodic music. Hopefully they do more in the future.

Bit slow getting to your channel but glad I stumbled over it, cracking reactions/commentary. I am guessing you have done Tallah - Overconfidence, similar nu-core style to Bollywood and the official video is pretty well shot. Also, there is a super challenging but brilliant concept album by Gggolddd - This shame should not be mine, that deals with similar issues to this track but from the personal experience of the singer, hard hitting, graphic but so well created.

With how they incorporate rap-like vocals and the name of their first 'world tour'' and their politics, I think they are very much inspired by Rage Against The Machine. Which were pre-nu-metal I would say.
The harsh rap-like vocals is, I would say a new addition, in newer songs. You can notice it too in the other latest song.
They have an AMAZING documentary of their origin-story/first tour and them developing into a live band/how they are funded, you really should check it out. Don't know if a reaction is possible, it's long, but maybe with a bunch of edits it would work.

I really love and appreciate your videos that's why am even subscribed to it. 9 : 00 Ill kindly don't say that about our culture. Indian culture respects women a lot that's why we even Pray to Female Gods like Kaali Maa ( Her other form is Shakti ) as depicted in the video ( The female dancer with face paint ). I mean women or as general people get abused everywhere, its not a cultural thing. In Indian culture female is depicted as Shakti which literally means "Energy, ability, strength, effort, power, capability", we have been having female rulers and freedom fighters throughout our history and till date our current president is a female, we have great female Rishis and great minds throughout history. In India we have festivals dedicated to the female members of the house be it a little baby's wife, a sister and a Mother. Sorry for the long comment just thought I should say it 🙏

If you're impressed with Jayant Bhadula's growls, you should watch "Jee Verey" and you can really hear how amazing his scream vocals are. Even if you don't do a video on it, you need to watch it :) Warning: You might choke up a little (Yaad as well.. Only metal video that made me legit ugly cry)

I think that “cultural appropriation” isn’t particularly valuable in an artistic sense. All art takes from influences, and it’s fine to wear those influences on your sleeve. I think that cultural appropriation is about lack of respect for what your taking- like if a rando sorority girl wears something spiritually significant to another people as a costume. Like I think there’s a conversation about how societies value “non-native” influences when framed through different lenses, but that’s not about whether or not the artist respects their influences.

Sexual Assault of both men n women are NOT just concentrated in India as being suggested here 👆but 30 times more so back in the US ... Wats rather a sorry state is that people in the US r surrounded by the constant 3rd World treatement when it comes to anything India but wen u actually come down, live n work here in all of the 414 smart cities up n down the country, U 👆 realise how ill - informed n out of touch u actually r sitting in the US n judging with 0 knowledge... Bloodywood isn't just talking about India here, it's talking about society as a whole of the entire planet whr women are sexualized n assaulted much more n ESPECIALLY in the US 🇺🇸 4 ur own awakening n information 💯 ..
