Loved this. So good to see Josh, Mark, Derek & Chad again (and Josh's mom!) Such amazing people I was blessed to know and create with back in the day. The creative energy around them is so palpable in person--almost supernatural. This film really does justice to that spirit. Thanks for sharing.
Pretty interesting. I recently, in the past two years, discovered the 'Shameless' TV show on DVDs. Which is freakin nuts. Thought the theme song was pretty awesome, the whole thing and particularly the lyrics and bass lines. Which lead me here to see how The High Strung got the Shameless gig. Still wondering. But I had no idea Malernan was a writer. Shit up until recently I thought it was a chick singing The Luck You Got.
Just watched birdbox ... absolute BEST end of the world scenario ever. I’d hope I’d be one of the ones that just killed myself... rather then the ones that helped do the demons bid . GREAT MOVIE it could happen... cause it’s close!
