I highly recommend a staple gun. It is a game changer!

I truly have been meaning to get one, I just always keep forgetting to put it in my amazon cart.

I would probably avoid stapling certain things because it ruins the longevity of it, especially if it is laminated. Staples in a wall aren’t promising.

At our district they recommend stapling items to walls since it is less destructive to the wall. They can easily cover up a small staple hole compared to a nail hole. Plus I've tried command hooks, and they normally take off chunks of paint. So personally, stapling is just the best option I have found.

Being able to leave things on the wall is a blessing...they make us take everything down 😔

I asked my admin about taking things down for paint and/or touch ups. And they said we typically take down everything every 5 years so they can come in and paint. After that if we need a wall to be touched up, you take those items down and put in a maintenance request.

Hi Nicole, how do you deal with hallway behaviors ? Like what do you do if a studnet runs in the hallway? Like do you hold their hand if they run or do they just have to walk with you? Also do you have studnet sit right next to you if they are the only one talking loudly or need help focusing? Where do you put them next to you if they do? Please answer third year online college student studying elementary education.

Really amazing questions! These all go back to classroom management and truly going over the routines and expectations within and out of the classroom. I practice how my students should line up and walk through the hallway, and any time that they don't show me the correct behavior we do go over the expectations and practice.
I normally don't put students next to me at the teacher table, because it does end up embarrassing them and then they don't trust you afterwards. I just walk throughout the room for the majority of the day to make sure the students know that I can hear and see everything that is going on.

That make sense . Why don’t you hold their hand or have them hold your hand if they are running or misbehaving in the hallway? Also what do you do to manage misbehavior on school field trips? Please answer?
