The mouth of Lake Togo, a "miracle" of nature
Not far from the town hall of Aneho, capital of the Prefecture of the Lakes, stands a huge view of the expanse of water from the Atlantic Ocean, in a two-color sap cloth.
At the intersection of the two colors there is a systematic discharge of the water from the lake.
More than an impressive spectacle, it is rather an astonishing unstoppable reality, a sign of a mystery of the universe.
Lake Togo (French: Lac Togo) is the largest part of a lagoon in Togo, separated from the Atlantic Ocean by a narrow coastal strip. It is shallow and a popular location for water sports. Towns on the lake's shore include Agbodrafo and Togoville.
