Got a kick out of the ‘engine test’ statement. 150,000 miles and hope to get the engine to 200,000 miles. If one changes the oil every 5,000 - 7,500 miles and air filters often… then it will likely go over 300,000 miles and more. I have a 2014 Cruze with 200,000 miles and it’s still running well. Just take care of it and it will take care of you. Great looking SUV. Wish it did have fog lights but not a show stopper. Also wish it had a High Country trim with saddle brown leather interior

Those are not drain plugs in the back of that Chevrolet traverse! You have to remove those and the plastic tub to get to the spare tire.

I thought it was just me who heard her say that! "I was saying NOOOOO, your spare is beneath there!"

The interior is really nice to me. I love the new *gm* switchgear looks of much higher quality than before. The RS looks the best so far in white to me. The design is perfect and they do the best job of hiding the vehicle’s size with styling tricks. This vehicle doesn’t look as nearly as big or spacious from the exterior as it actually is on the inside. I love that! Impressed by how *gm* is able to do that like nobody else! 🔥

I love this review with a woman's POV! More good info delivered than other reviews I've seen. Great job, Mom!

Did she just fart at 5:20? Also, those holes aren’t drain plugs in the cargo compartment! 🤦‍♂️

Def not drain plugs. That is how you access the spare tire stuff

Can you show the ambient lighting? Where does the lighting come from?

I have the same question! None of the reviews I’ve seen have shown this.

@@debbihardesty9234 Reviewers these days don’t know what to show the people anymore, they’re too busy running their months about what they like or don’t like. As far as the new ambient lighting there’s a LED strip above the red imitation carbon printed trim on the doors and a thin LED strip across the dash. It’s really hard to see in the day light and like you said nobody highlights it. Check EddieX’s review of the 2024 Traverse.

Low air intake concerns me with the "off road" version, will this be an issue in offroad puddles that may occur on two track roads... water gets saved in and instant engine death

Heads up display, fog lights, blind spot cameras, heat and ventilation seats on front and rear, massage front seats, ambient interior lighting. Expect ALL this on all trims when spending $50k. Other manufacturers have many of these features standard for 3 row SUVs. And also improve third row window 😡😡😡

Isn't it a design from five years ago?

So in an emergency just make sure your doors are closed and your seatbelt is on…does it also tell you when you’re allowed to use the bathroom?

All the hype over the new Traverse gadgets to cover up the small 4 cylinder turbo engine. Turbo says the engine is too small, they are pressurizing the small engine to make it produce more power giving false impression you have power. We were interested in a new Traverse but never with a 4 cylinder. We have a 2017 GMC Acadia with a V-6 and have gotten 34 MPG on the highway. No way will the 4-cylinder be able to maintain its power over the life of the vehicle, as the engine wears it will be much less than a V-6 as it wears.
