Sounds like Vampire Counts would be the faction best able to deal with Beastmen. It doesn't matter to them if zombies and skeletons get destroyed when clearing forests. The forests themselves are filled with corpses and spirits they can use to replenish their troops. And the Beastmen can't eat the undead so they'll have trouble replenishing their troops.
It depends probably; I think beastmen might be able to eat fresh rotten flesh (considering they already dont cook meat). But you could suffuse entire breyherds with disease that way.So vampire counts could do both conventional and biological warfare.
I don't think the beastmen would have any issue eating or completely destroying zombies and skeletons. Also, the Beastmen are children of Chaos. If there was a mass campaign, the Gods would certainly aid them. You think Nurgle would let his pets die to disease?
its also important to remember anything about 'clearing out the beastmen' assumes there wasnt anything bigger and nastier in the deepest pits the rest of the world never got to see.
Q1: are norscans actually known for using chariots in the lore, or is it just a total war thing? Q2:are there any accounts of a fimir or a skin wolf leading armies of norscans or other creatures into battle?
Q1: Norscans have a unit called skin wolves that are basically werewolves. And in Kislev (probably wrong) a special group of humans also can turn into wolves. Any relation? Q2: What do beast men think about skin wolves? Do they even know that skin wolves exist?
First of, thank you for answering my question! Now for Norsca: - How is it possible that they have such prominent numbers as they live in such a hell of a place? -How can they sustain their growing numbers? - Do all Norscans see the Chaos Gods for who they are or do they first see Khorne for example as the god of courage, and then after they are corrupted as the god of war and slaughter? Or do they believe in something different? -Are there Norscan tribes that have defied the call to arms by the Chaos gods?
In gotrek and Felix one of the first chaos warriors they encounter is a woman leading a warherd and the gors are very not used to having a female in charge
What about simply setting the forests ablaze? I mean if a forest contains a large enough and dangerous enough group of enemies would it simply be best to set fire to the forest and let the fiends burn?
Is Wulfrik a normal(ish) marauder, in which he uses salvaged plate armour and receives no special gifts/help from the chaos gods (apart from the initial curses he received when he was tasked to defeat the strongest in the world). Otherwise is he technically a chaos warrior or exalted hero, despite him leading marauders instead of chaos warriors. For example did he officially have true chaos armour that supposedly has the ability to shapeshift to reflect a warrior's patron god
How the Norscans transport their War Mammoth out of Norsca? Do they actually have Ships capable of carrying something that massive or was taking Mammoths on Ships a gameplay concession in Total War Warhammer?
My favorite thing about the Skaven is that they are a gross hyperbole of humanity. Industry and science cranked up to 11 and ethics and morality down to 0. Ton of fun. Do the Beastmen infest the woodlands of Sylvania? I'd imagine a forest full of vargulfs and minotaur must be a hell of a place.
Q. Are there any notable mutations unique to norsca for example skinwolves and are there any notable characters of these types? Also one more question how are skinwolves created and do they hold any special significance for norscans besides being battlefield commodities. Basically just wanna know all about skinwolves haha
They're a footnote in WH lore for the most part, they're not so much created but born with this unique mutation that is activated through rituals done by the shamans of the Norscans. They're viewed as blessed by their fellows (as are most mutants) but are nonetheless thrown in to battle and treated as beasts of war. Sadly no special characters for them given they're so obscure in lore. However, there a character called Beorg Bearstruck who is a werebear, and leads a tribe of such creatures.
Question, a bit late, I know: do beastmen live in the badlands? And if they do, how does the environment impact the appearance? Additionally, how does their behavior and tactics change from that of the beastmen in forests and such? Do they have beast paths in the desert for example?
A few questions about Skeggi, so please, be patient. Do the Norscans in Skeggi, the settlement in Lustria, still worship the Chaos Gods? And if that's the case, why didn't the Lizardmen simply wipe them out since they are vehement enemies of chaos?
How do Norscan numbers compare to those of the Empire and Brettonia. From the chaos invasions one would gather they are very numerous. Is this true and how do they support such a civilisation in such inhospitable climate.
Even if all the Brayherds were wiped out, Chaos would make more. They're a 'natural' biproduct of Chaos. Anyway, I like to think that in death, Malagor made it to Daemon Princehood. He was just so cool.
Is it very common for the Chaos Gods to resurrect the Norscans into forms more pleasing to themselves as rewards, like in the case of Valkia the Bloody?
Did you read the beastmen army book? Sadly even the Cygor wasnt implemented properly into the game, his special rules were a important part of his skill set that gave him tactical value. For example: his extra precision against any undead or magical damage dealing unit (sorcerer sniping, great against elite troops with magic damage), and that is just one example of his special abilities. Every elite unit of the Beastmen and their lords had just crazy amazing special rules that made them very unique.
If only the end times came a few centuries later, if the dwarves survived, they might have accepted such a design! To think what the dwarves might have achieved then.. Though, how old must the gyrocopters be, then?
Can beastmen controle creatures normally alligned with other races like for example arachnarok spiders And for norsca: are there people similar to norscans near the south pole of the warhammer world Do the norscans have the equivalent to a real world shieldwall formation the vikings were famous for or are they mostly mindless berserkers
Hey loremaster fantastic video I do have a question similar to one asked for the beastmen Q: what other monsters do the Norscans utilize or fight that are not used in their TW warhammer armies. Other question: are demons ever found wandering Norsca? If they are how do norscans treat an occurrence?
I love your channel!!! Question: How is it possible for Norscans, or any other chaos army for that matter, to field trolls? Trolls are said to be some of the dumbest creatures out there so, how can a warlord get them to fight for him? I know Throgg has some short of mind controlling powers over them but, what could a human ever do to "convince" a troll, since they are not even self-aware?
Bullshit... Trolls are almost unkillable, their regeneration and strength make them one of the stronger races in warhammer... Even if what you said was true, they are too dumb to be trained even with pain, they'd just lash out the moment they got the chance...
Do all norscans fanatically worship the chaos gods or are there some that are their own men, like Mortkin or Canto the Unsworn? And I know this is technically a second question but i couldn't find any information on this so it would be great if you could answer, is there a non chaos god valhalla or is Mortkin simply being tortured for all eternity in the chaos realms. Love the Q&A format btw and sorry for the long question. Cheers!
Question does anyone know if the Chaos Doom Tide got fixed for Chaos on Total War Warhammer 2 awhile back I was playing Dwarfs and I kept destroying the faction I was on Turn 160. Didn’t play Total War warhammer 2 for awhile and was wondering if it ever got fixed?
About cutting down woods to build sttlements there... why not burn it down? I have to admit, i have no clue, how a foredt fire works, but the point about fire is, that nobody would dare to attack through it... so cut down a bit of wood, burn down down more. repeat. i guess the biggest point is, that you could neither use the land for years nor build villages from wood... so conta: you cant use it pro: they cant use it... so its a win?
Schmoorf der Schmied I would assume a it would piss off the wood elves who would respond by a re-growing the forest using their magic and be killing whoever set the fires and be you don’t want to piss off all of the beast men at once And that’s what would happen they would all get pissed off and they have magic so they can probably just stop the fire at some point
the soot of ashes, doesnt it still have nutrients, like snow from the sky, still has nutrients, so no, it wouldnt take that long to regrow but trees, they take centuries to grow, if not decades but that depends on the tree. Grass will grow though. Shit that is how they make farmland in the amazon in Brazil. So yeah it can totally work. If you want to make farms. That also gets me though, about athel loren, given that they are famliar with trees, wouldnt they mind alittle bit of fire, to make the ground more fertile? Since you know, every thing i just stated. Yeah the big trees would take centuries, but the spirits last forever, so i mean if they survive, especially since they are attuned to magic, they could grow it back, like poison ivy?
Yeah, killing a baby is bad, but letting it rot in the forest is totally moral. :D I know they are faced with an impossible decision here, as people of the Imperium anyways, but that wording just made it hilarious. :D
Why are there so many Beastmen in Nagaroth? Are they slaves to the Dark Elves? If not, wouldn't it be kinda easy for the Dark Elves to take their numbers down?
Alphabetical Disorder Many of them are slaves, as Dark Elves (much like Chaos Dwarfs) enslave populations of everything but Skaven (who are too vile and cunning to not fuck things up). However, there are tons of free tribes especially further up north in the Chaos Wastes.
They do, all chaos warriors come from Norscan tribes and marauders can be found amongst the Chaos ranks. They fight alongside Demons and sometimes even Beastmen too.
Hey hey hey! Great Q&A! Now about my Norsca boys - before the great incursion were there any humans living in what we today know as Norsca? I do know that there were humans living in Albion who were tended to by the Old Ones and that the ancestors of humans that inhabit the Empire came from the East so how come there is a whole different society up in the North and where did it came from? I also have another question about Norscans - arethere any mentions of northmen who turned away or abandoned the worship of their versions of the dark gods? From what I understand Norscan society exists under the threat of imminent chaos invasion should they turn away from worshiping the chaos gods but have any northmen ever were like "fuck it"? For example some who sailed and stayed in Lustria like Losteriksson?

Q: Have the norscans meet the skaven if so what do they think of them.
Your lore videos are the best by far. Your storytelling character vids are just out of this world. Great work.

Very cool hearing about the Ymir (if that's how it's spelled out) I'm definitely glad that I asked about the cold climate adaptation.
Orkboss Pretty sure it is!
is Valkya the bloody the only valkyrie of "the hound" or are there more?
Two things: Love the video, as usual, and I'm digging the Skyrim music.
Q1: are norscans actually known for using chariots in the lore, or is it just a total war thing?

You are an incredible narrator. Instant sub. Can’t wait to listen to more of your stuff!

Cube afaik Beorling (I think his name is) and his tribe denounced the Chaos gods.

bet those forests are cursed with chaos, so simply burning it wont work, but otherwise a good idea
Will magic is why I’d bet
That was actually very informative! Many thanks!
Do Norsca only Worshipped Chaos Gods and not others?
Q: How have the notable norscan settlements been able to survive? P.s love your Q&A’s I hope you keep on making them!
In one book a beastman was described with a horse head, now that seemed truly horrifying.
Loremaster_of_Sotek I hope GW will redesign them at some point to reflect this, you could get very creative with it
Loremaster_of_Sotek Rhinox beastman or a gorghon with a Stonehorns head.

" Just like the beastmen do" Haha sound so funny!!. my new catch frase.

Don't all Chaos warriors and chosen come from Norsca and North empire? I cant imagine a chaos warrior from tilea
