- Why is the primary importance among parents given to mothers? Sri Sathya Sai Baba was categorical in stating that Mother is the First God.
Find out the reason which Swami gave for starting the Education mission with a women's college at Anantapur as early as 1969. It will surely blow your mind. Also embedded in the talk is an exclusive interview that Swami gave to the students of Class XII and the guidance he gave to the future 'fathers' and 'mothers' there. These words remind me of a few personal experiences of the sacrifice that mothers are capable of. What then can one speak of the Divine Mother?
This talk was originally delivered in the Satsangh Hall in Prasanthi Nilayam on the 6th of May, 2016.

No wonder; God has given foremost importance to "mother"
She is the only person who works full time for others, even on holidays she is busy already up in the early morning to prepare food for the family. She works till late night and sleeps only after we all sleep🙏🏻🙏🏻
While others relax she will be ever busy thinking of only others, expecting only smiles from them and nothing 🙏🏻🙏🏻🍂🍂
Yet we do not recognise her importance in our life , or we take it for granted many a times !

So many people are rude to their mothers and admit them to old age homes because the children think that she is a burden to their already burdened busy life🙏🏻
I have seen that many feel awkward to take their mother along with them saying that she is old-fashioned!!

If mothers are not there this world would not be there!
When we were in her womb that was the whole world for us...to cry...play...kick...
But when we come into the real world mother just becomes only a "word" for a lot of people!

When we,as babies surrender completely to our mother and enjoy the innocent bliss

Om Sri Sai Ram. I know this one extremely well, when one mother's day my teacher rang me and said "Happy Mothers Day' I was perplexed and asked him why he wished me that? He replied ' You need to realise how very important you and your role in life is, you matter a lot and are doing one of the most difficult jobs in the whole world, so enjoy your day' it really set the tone for my mother's day, I was very happy' this teacher was a Sai Baba devotee! Sai Ram,three days ago only I got to participate in Maathru Pooja and Parenting Programme along with Bal Vikas students. It was so nice,Sai Ram.The role of parents in our lives is so great. The power of mother made Lava Kusa brothers and Mahatma Gandhiji great.

I too have so much fear about injections...I use cry every time about it. But when I was pregnant I didnt cry nor I had fear about injection...I really changed in so many ways....
So true. I changed once i became a mother. Suddenly i became brave, protective n more open to many things. Motherhood is a blessing 💖

Roses are there for the delight of all: their fragrance rejoices those who approximate.
And just as the fragrance is natural to the rose,sacrifice is that to a mother.
Both bringing delight and the mother herself transforms to the level of a godess by it.
And as known; that godess not only sacrifices for her children but for her husband too.
