- As children, many of us have imagined ourselves to be superheroes of various kinds only to have the imaginations snatched away as adults. However, there is one superpower that we rarely imagined, possibly because we already owned it! And that is the power of the smile which can be used to create miracles.
The power of a smile is not to be underestimated nor can it ever be overestimated because it is immense. Laced with personal incidents and powerful experiences of others, this talk will hopefully bring a smile on the face. :)
This talk was delivered in the Satsangh Hall of Prasanthi Nilayam, the abode of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, on the 11th of August, 2017.

When I was young and scared, I would simply stare at the smile of Krishna and learnt how to smile like him in the picture, it instantly transformed the fear into a little fire that warmed me up inside and I was able to carry on without the fear overtaking me. the meaning of the smile of a baby is explained in a book by a neurologist, scientist researcher She was 35 years old. and got a stroke. she felt her power to walk and talk leaving her She knew I have to call my colleague/ friend from the hospital. she couldn't talk anymore so some barking dog noises came out her mouth. the same noise she could hear from her colleague . but that person send immediately an ambulance to her house. being in the hospital bed a lady came to lie next to her and it felt so good but had no idea that it was her mother because her whole left part of the brain, there where our mind resides , it was gone because of a bleeding. She had a perfect good feeling because of only her right brain was active. She felt connected with God!!!! there is were our Swami resides that's what I understood. I believe the intuition you could say .not interrupted by the mind, we are in bliss like the new born babies She wrote in the book . that's why our left brain can make us or brake us That lady had no more idea about anything like the newborn babe They are happy connected with God that's the reason why we feel the smile of the baby like God smiling to us.
Once playing with the hand of Swami, in an interview, I touched His pulse. Oh my it was the same feeling a baby can give me when I see one . This tender, sweet baby feeling.
the name of that neuroscientist is Jill Bolte Taylor. and she looked like a retard, mouth open, drooping , and not able to say something. but she also knew, after operation, to be removed all the blood, at the left brain, she knew that she had to come back to explain her experience with the people. not thinking that if people could look like that, they lost a part of the brain but they still are humans She felt in those days being with God so she wanted to stay there!!! but knew I have to come back. she gave an interview with Oprah Winfrey to be found on you tube under the title the neuroscientist with Oprah Winfrey or something like that.
Swami guided me to discover her book. and it opened me up to understand what He is teaching about our mind yes we need it to be able to analyse for instance ourselves our behaviour, our actions, reactions , our emotions etc because Swami told us to know ourselves. so using His teachings about the mirror and using His words that we are God, that means for me we are the creators of our lives that's the understanding I get from the mind. the left side of the brain by being able to analysing His words.
I am now, thanks to Him a psychic psychotherapist. He gives me insides and by analyzing the meaning What He alwat told us, I understand. needing my left and right side of my brain. so I didn't need to study psychotherapist because He gave me the intuition the right side, and the understanding, analysing and logic thinking with my left side.of the brain
I believe everyone who can apply logic thinking and analysing, and let enter the teachings About the mirror and the real meaning "we are God", we are able to discover our real Selves . Sai Ram

How true it is that when you say that at any given point of time we are mostly time traveling...either past or future, thus spoiling the beautiful present . Thinking like this spoils our mood and how often we ourselves create a bad energy inside us by brooding over the past incidents, pitying ourselves, cursing others, planning to punish our so called enemies etc.
Looks like our monkey minds have tendency to get stuck there ..and does not like to be disturbed.
So in a way we ourselves are responsible for our feelings many a time.

Regarding smiling to a complete stranger ...as you narrated it really breaks the ice ..a heart warming genuine smile can create wonders. And we are foolish if our ego says "let him/her smile first then I will think of smiling!
